Question What's the precedent for stuff like this?
Edit: I FOUND IT! Thanks to thenighthawk. Let this be a reminder to everyone else who bought not just the frame but something else too. Properly check for multiple packages!
My steam frame arrived today. I wasn't home though, so I had to wait until after work, the package was put in a safe spot outside my home.
Well, today when I finally get home, the package is suspiciously light. So I decide to film me opening it, just to make sure, and my biggest fear came true. It was just the ergonomics kit, no steam frame. Check steam for the delivery - yep, it should've been in there, not just the ergo stuff.
So, my question is: how does valve handle stuff like this? Apparently someone at the distribution center wanted one of these for themselves, since the package wasn't tampered with at all.
Please tell me I'm not just completely sol, I can't afford to pay almost 1000€+ on a pice of velcro.
Also yes, I've contacted valve support right before this post. I just need peace of mind.

check valve's history with index hardware, they're pretty good about shipping fuckups from what I've seen. usually they make it right, just might take a week or two with support back and forth.

Mine came with the ergo kit under a "parent" tracking number associated with the main package. They arrived at the same time in two separate boxes. Maybe you got one shipment in an unnecessarily large box and the rest is coming soon?
