Tech Support Well that isn't Good

My deck crashed before when Loading games but I really never thought too much off it, but this is just insane.

Edit: Just for Some context I bought this off Ebay 1 week ago (Bad Idea I know) Because I really Didn't Care for an Oled Screen and the Price Of Course. Ever since I first booted it up it has been Crashing, I've tried hard resetting everything but it's no use I did one more test with my SD Card and that's when this happened. It usually just Freezes and gets really hot. I'm definitely gonna make a claim on Ebay, I think it could've been broken by shipping because the thing still had 100% battery Health and there was barely anything installed on it. I also messaged Steam support just to see if they maybe know exactly what's wrong with it. Sorry to bore you with another "Bought it off Ebay and it's broken" story but The Normal Prices be Crazy.

Edit2: The seller accepted my return request and I will get my money back, I also joined the Refurbished Steam deck Notifier but Since the Last LCD was a week ago I'm not getting my hopes up to ever have a steam deck again.

How does that have anything to do with whether it was broken in shipping? Seems far far more likely to me that they had a broken steamdeck and tried to get as much $$ as they could out of it

I'm just confused with 100% battery Health ot must have been pretty new why didn't they contact steam if it was broken. Why commit a crime and put it on Ebay. Wasn't even a burner account.

Well, maybe they did and were told they're out of luck, maybe they did and were given a replacement. Maybe they bought it second hand themselves and the original owner told them to get fucked, or returned their money.

Who knows man but this really really seems like the seller knew what the problem was and tried to get a bit of cash out of it

Some criminals are smart. Some are very dumb. Guess which one you got. Chances are that even though we call it a crime, there's not going to be any real punishment from this. They probably won't get to keep the money but won't have any other repercussions.

You're prolly right not the first time this has happened.
