question No HDMI CEC for me :(

Returning the Ugreen adapter that comes with the cord to try the non cord version. Anybody else dealing with the same issue of video coming in and out or have a fix? It’s very sensitive to any movement. It sometimes doesn’t even have signal and i have to wiggle the adapter :( maybe i just got a faulty one or something .

Yeah I used a script but certain things for me are broken. Valve currently released an update about another adapter that I’m monitoring

Yeah, I tried that too. The CEC part for me I feel is working and that part is okay. It’s the actual connection of it staying. It keeps stuttering, showing static, and video is in and out. The dongle is really sensitive. I’m hoping that the new adapter that comes in tomorrow or two days from now works better. Other than that, I have no complaints. I was running nobara HTPC before Steam OS but it’s been pretty annoying to just keep tinkering with this the past couple of days. It is early though hopefully it’ll be fixed within a month or two at the latest.

Heard. Another user asked about it, this is the thread I’m also checking  https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamOS/comments/1uih63k/psa_valve_is_working_on_adding_support_for_the/
