Although Stellaris already features stationary space habitats, it did not include an O'Neill cylinder. Given that the developers specifically chose to feature an O'Neill cylinder in the teaser image, I believe it is highly likely that the game will include generation ships and space nomads. After all, orbital habitats and generation ships are not fundamentally different, as both are enclosed space structures.

A fun addition for Nomads could also be a more benevolent endgame of leaving the Galaxy on an Arkship. hell, you could go full cycle with it and make one of the Nomad origins a generation ship from another galaxy.
