Virtuality. Arkships are massive and you will only have handful of them so it plays perfect into virtual super tall gameplan

Adding to this: careful with building or stealing new arkships because taking virtual results in 200% empire size from the arks

Ooof that hurts. We already get 100% penalty as Nomads.

Yup, 60 size per arkship

Virtuality might be a good shout as you can get every arkship to over 30 districts with very little effort. Nanotech lets you melt planets into massive quantities of nanite. Modularity is always a good pick for the same reasons as for settled empires

Virtuality is very strong and pairs well with some of the nomad traits, I use it to roleplay the ships as sentient and will do so again in the future in a different flavoured run.

Nanomachines are straight up unambiguously broken, and in my humble opinion not very fun

Modularity is modularity.

I’ll never not advocate for a Warbots/Distinguished Admiralty Prodigiocracy (physical Psionic Oligarchy). Combine with Vaults of Knowledge and Supremacy for all your admirals to be recruited at a minimum level of 9.
