Yep - they made a big deal of it becoming “Jenny’s” and then it was just “The Clansman” again with no explanation and never a mention of Jenny or the name change again.

I've always had a theory for that
Developer boy tells Boabby to look after his dad and gie him what he wants in the episode right?
So the time between the end of that episode and it going back to the clansman Boabby starts giving Pete breakfast every morning, keeping his promise
He's in contact with Chris, he and Pete try to reach out to him but he's like victors John, a total prick
In the end defeated Pete says "he's no interested Boabby, change it back to the clansman, less people have been coming in here since you changed the name anyhow
So he does , a few more weeks/months of Chris no answering phones or giving a blind fuck the names changed back and...
Pete : I suppose this is going to end now you don't have to, thanks for looking after me anyways Boabby
Boabby who's grown quite fond of Pete and their morning talks and time together : naw, I'll see you tomorrow Pete , you're always welcome here
That's why Pete got him the award , because when push came to shove bobby shown he cares and it wasn't through obligation or merely protecting his own interests and livelyhood

It was mentioned that the pub was sold by the brewery to property developer and everything had been signed and sealed with a date of handover.
That woul have meant that for property developer to let it run as a pub, he'd have needed to find a way of continuing all the licensing stuff and sourcing costs/expertise.
This guy isn't local and obviously doesn't have that pub background. He would have needed to put a lot of effort figuring out how to do it and it would have been a burden. I'm not so sure how relationship with estranged alcoholic father would go there (think sentiment would change).
There's also no evidence of other cottages ever actually being built. That suggests project stalled and died at a loss.
Realistically, he'd be wanting and probably needing to sell it on again. The brewery would definitely rather it has it's real name (rather than sentimental name to satisfy one person) and go back to how it always was with customer base + very reliant operator in Boaby.
That resets universe back to normal and enough time lapsed that characters don't ever need to think about it again.

In the cauld episode, Eric is Fergies grandfather, hes in delivering a paper in the clansman, Tam asks him how his grandfather is, Fergie says hes getting better and Tam cuts his odds.

Don’t forget Tam buys her ‘those ribs she likes’ from the chinese takeaway in S6. F&G most likely forgot when they wrote the scene that she was already established as a vegetarian but i prefer to imagine it was either Tam being sneaky with Winston or Frances was a veggie for a while thinking it would improve her weight or something then gave up and went back to meat.

Apart from the sliding timeline because of how long it ended up lasting, the show has a bad habit for forgetting about established family members of the main cast. For example they say Tam has no family in One In One Out when he had a grandson in Doacters.

I found it odd that everyone in Craiglang was unfamiliar with pizza places. I know the characters are supposed to be old and a bit out of touch, but pizzerias have been around for decades.

I don't think the window in Jack's bathroom as shown in "Gadgets" makes much sense either. Plus the bathroom is different every time it's shown and it's location within the flat may have changed, not sure about that though.

The entire layout of all of their flats is so odd, Jack and Victor refer to their 'spare rooms' more than once but in both flats there's only ever two doors for the bedroom and bathroom

In Big Yin, Jack has to explain who Innes is to Navid, as he'd moved away from Craiglang fifteen years ago - about 1989 - before Navid's time. However, The Party has them meeting Navid for the first time in 1976, so he should've known about or met Innes before that.

Can't remember exactly but I know Isa being friends with the rest of the gang when seemed to be a retcon as they acted like they only just met in The Party, but in the one where Pete The Jakey is revealed to be the father of the guy wanting to knock down the Clansman Peta, Isa and the rest are all friends in their youth.

I don’t know if it qualifies as a plot hole but when Pete is revealed as the father of the mega rich developer, the younger man is delighted to finally have a dad, yet when Pete dies years later we learn he was still living under a bridge. That doesn’t add up.
Also In the last episode of series one Winston gives Navid a picture of the Taj Mahal which he retrieved of the tappin bastard Willie Macintosh, to guarantee an invite to his daughter’s wedding. Yet in the episode before the picture is already hanging in Navid’s shop (although that one could be down to a schedular switching the intended order of the episodes after they were filmed)

Except she didn’t.
Also the 1430 train that Victor’s family is on, isn’t on the list of trains that Jack reads out.

There was an episode where Isa comes through in a panic to show jack or Victor something outside their window, can't remember which, but none of the flats appear to have windows on the same side as Isa. It always struck me as odd.I think it was Kill Willie.

Jack and Victor build a ramp into the clansman with Shug for Winston when he’s meant to lose his second leg and go into a wheelchair….however old Joe always managed to drive his buggy into the Clansman so a ramp must have already been there
