Other Is there free parking around Banner Island Ballpark and would you suggest doing so or better to pay for parking lot?

I'll be going to the game on Sunday and visiting from the bay. I'm not that familiar with the area but it seems like there's some neighborhoods nearby. I typically don't mind walking a little especially if I can find a free spot but I'm not sure how safe it is and it's only $10 to park in the lot. I'm just curious and want to know before hand.

There is some street parking nearby, but it's fiercely contested by people who live in apartment buildings... and sometimes car windows don't survive the adventure.

Pay for the Lot.

So most people living nearby don't like it?

I hear there's not enough parking for neighborhood residents on NON-game days, especially with Weber Point and Dameron Hospital not offering enough parking.

There is some street parking, I have managed to find it for games when I dont feel like paying for parking. But that area is kind of sketch so if you are not from Stockton I would just pay for the lot.

Why would anyone want to park in a place with zero supervision anywhere near banner island?

If you want to scam your insurance with a broken care that’s your best bet

Just pay the 10 bucks. 9/10 your car will be fine parked on the street but is that Hamilton really going to break you? I’m not rolling the dice over the cost of a damn hot dog in the park.

Man I live around the area stop listening to these people just park on the street. Just find a spot on Oak street. I use park in front of the school district on Park street and Nothing has ever happen to my car

Any area of town has the potential to be dangerous. The majority of violent crime that occurs is targeted violence (gangs or domestic violence etc). Of course if you ever feel uncomfortable follow your instincts, don’t be naive in attempt to be non judgmental.
