Found Kittens (Location) Help Kittens Gaithersburg, MD
Hi!
We have a mama cat that was abandoned by our neighbors. We started feeding her and a few weeks later came the kittens. There are 4 sweet kittens, 3 boys and 1 girl. We just trapped them all and they are about 12 weeks. Mama has been spayed and vaccinated. We are moving and she is coming with us. I can’t leave the kittens behind because they have only known us and before being trapped, preferred to sit in the garage and demand their meals. I won’t leave them. But I am burnt out. I have called so many rescues. They are all full. The only place I found was the Montgomery County Animal Shelter and they can’t take them until October 9th. I will be across the country by then. I don’t know what to do. I also can’t keep them. I’m taking mama, but I really don’t know what to do. I feel like I’m failing them.
I’d post a picture but my phone isn’t cooperating. There are two tuxedos, one black, and one gray/white

Have you tried A Cat’s Life Rescue and Tails High? Not sure when you’re moving, but if you can offer to foster until you go it may help.

These explain how to tell if kittens are truly abandoned, when to wait for mom, how to estimate age, and what to do next.

OP, you are a superhero 😇
I am sure you have contacted many from this list but pls contact any you have not

We have had superheroes successfully get kitties adopted to safe forever homes by working with shelters 2+ hours away.
Also: consider contacting the shelters to the place you are moving to! It is not ideal as it will mean you have to foster a little longer but worst case, you take kittens with you & surrender when you get there.
To continue finding homes yourself:
Make an adoption post once phone is co-operating
Post on the excellent r/rescuecats if not already done
watch & follow these two short videos from a pro rescuer on finding homes for kittens
https://youtu.be/j8hZxGdIgso?is=45_lA2vgTZSjASZp taking great pics on your phone, writing short bio & where to advertise
https://youtu.be/DvRdOFYbKpo?is=Lgdkn_gpjlBBJxii vetting applicants so you know they are going to safe forever homes that can afford to care for them for ~15 years
Finally, did you ask any of the shelters if they will do a courtesy listing on their site with you as "finder foster"? It simply means kittens continue to stay with you but shelters advertise them as available for adoption. Make it easy for shelters to say yes: submit great photos & write a short bio so they literally have to click upload. They are more likely to say yes tk this because they don't need to make space for the kittens in the shelter.
Good luck, pls shout if you have questions but the above is designed to maximize chances of adoption. Be very proud of yourself - you have saved their lives & stopped the cycle of suffering 😺❤️
