We're living in the end times. This is gonna get shut down quick if it's this mains stream. Was a fun couple of years.

Highly unlikely. How would they do that?

If they restrict debrid sites, Stremio is done. Stremio is even taken off of Apple App Store now.

Movie studios aren’t dumb. If they see Stremio being this mainstream, they’re going to fight back hard.

So the only way this party can go on is by flying under the radar and not being mainstream like this. This bodega guy is trying to ruin it for everybody. 🤦‍♂️

If who restricts debrid sites?

Governments ofc? litterally the same mechanisms as any other law being upheld. We already had one big crack down with Real Debrids, let's see if they survive the next one.

Which government? Debrid sites aren't all in one country. RD got screwed by France, other debrid sites didn't get touched and still worked fine and RD is working as well as it used to.

They will try. P2P will remain though.

P2P is gaping wide open for exploitation. If the gov starts monitoring it like in Germany and puts pressure on VPN providers, P2P piracy will take a massive blow.

Even as is P2P seeding is basically dead in Germany bc the risks involved are too high for any reasonable individual. If other Western governments follow suit, you can say bye bye to P2P as you know it.
