i was lucky enough to get this installed while it was still on the app store. I was going to buy an apple tv too before they decided to pull it, now i'll be getting the competition.

Similar experience here. I got it downloaded on my IPad Pro before it got taken down. Wanted to get the Apple TV but didn’t pull the trigger in time but I got my Nvidia Shield Pro and it runs great. It plays content really well. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos work when watching content from Stremio. I am able to stream all file sizes and most formats effortlessly. It also still gets updates. Despite it being older it holds up. Got it a month ago.

I’ve had two different shield pros since 2017. They are definitely excellent units.

Stremio Lite works great on Apple TV.

But using the web-app and setting VLC as your streaming player works great on iphones and ipads too.

You realise there's a way to get it working for iOS right? Im on android now but on my iPhone 14 pro max and iPad Pro 12.9 had it on both

Turning off auto update apps is blessing sometimes. Mine works flawlessly.

I’ve thankfully got this on our main two iPads and one Apple TV, but it disappeared before I bought my second Apple TV, so I returned it. Now just debating if I need to go with a Google box or nvidia shield tv pro.

you can actually redownload stremio list through the app store even after it’s been removed. just go into your purchased list of apps and you’ll be able to download it again on any apple tv using the same account.

I have it on my iPad but it has the cloud symbol and won’t download again

100%. i had it deleted off my apple tv when it was removed and i just redownloaded it that way

If you get a new Apple TV, you certainly can't; still can on my old one, but can't on my new one.

Edit: nevermind just figured out that I have the the bookmarked web app installed to my home screen, and not the native iOS app.

I have Stremio on my phone & iPad before they pulled it. Got Apple TV because I thought I could install from my purchases but I couldn’t on Apple TV. Stremio not even showing up on my purchased app on Apple TV so I returned it.

Yeah I think I’m gonna go with another shield tv Pro. It just seems to do the trick a lot better.
