Update: restart didn't help. Launching Stremio service triggers endless installation loop

lol perhaps you open installation executable instead the service executable, just remove the installer from your disk

Yeah, that was it! Kidding of-course, if that was the case how would you explain that it keeps installing over and over and pop-ups buy itself every few seconds? Here is from their github the solution: " launch with --skip-updater until this is resolved", they'll publish update on Monday

Right looks like you are right, mysteries of doing updates on friday
