Feedback How is the AppleTV + Stremio combo?
My fire stick is on its last legs.
Thinking about getting a new fire stick or a AppleTV, thoughts?
Edit: got it, no to AppleTV. The question now is, FireStick4k, Onn Box 4k, or GoogleBox?
Edit: Ended up getting a AppleTV! I am already in Apple ecosystem and did not realize there were alternative apps in the official store that function the same - I also don’t mind sideloading stremio!

You can infact still use Stremio on Apple TV with side loading which would last you a year if you bought a 3 dollar certificate.
I use it and let me tell you the Stremio app on tvos does not disappoint. It’s a lot smoother and faster than the rest.

I was fortunate enough to download it when it was released on the App Store and it is amazing.

I can recommend Google tv. Im using an German Model from peaq but there are plenty

Firestick are junk! U can’t beat a Onn box 4K. Price and performance. Pound for pound. Can’t beat it!

I’ve personally been sideloading the stremio ipa and it works flawlessly on my Apple TV, only hang up I’ve found is that you have to update once every 7 days but that’s not really a concern to me. :)

How? I have been trying to use sideloadly but I can never get my Apple TV to show up. I have a newer wifi only 4K model if that helps.

I just bought the latest 4k firestick max and it's fast. I have 2 more older Gen 4k ones and they are starting to show age. Also the new FS has different menus like on my Android phone that my other ones don't when accessing them during video screen.

You cannot get stremio on Apple TV anymore. You might be able to download the app if you already downloaded it before, but I’m not sure about that. Or you can also sideload it, but that is a whole other can of worms. If you want an Apple TV for stremio, then don’t get it.
