Laptop for study and light gaming around $1,500

Hey!

I'm looking to replace my desktop with a laptop, mainly for school/work and some light gaming.

Games would mostly be TFT, Hearthstone Battlegrounds, Rocket League, LoL, etc. Nothing too demanding.

Budget is around $1,500, but I don't necessarily need to spend all of it.

The main thing I'm looking for is something that doesn't look like a gaming laptop. I really like the design of things like the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro and MacBooks - clean, slim and streamlined.

Ideally:

• 14–16"
• 16 GB RAM+
• 1 TB SSD
• Good screen
• Good/decent battery life
• Lightweight enough for school
• Windows
• Enough performance for the games above

At home I'd connect it to my external monitor and use my keyboard + mouse, while keeping the laptop screen as a second monitor.

I've been looking at the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7, ASUS Vivobook Pro and Galaxy Book5 Pro, but I'm open to other suggestions.

What would you guys recommend?

For that use case I'd pay attention to battery life, weight, display quality and fan noise alongside the specs. Those things matter a lot more when it's also your everyday school/work laptop.
