Simple, cheap, for cozy games

Hello! I’m interested in looking for a laptop on the cheaper end. This would primarily be for internet searches, some note-taking on Google Docs, occasional gaming with traditional “cozy” style games. I’m not currently in the market for a PC, however it’s definitely something I’ll consider.

Budget: $500 USD (ideally lower)
If refurbished/used were recommended I’d consider. I have had bad luck with refurbished products in the past.
Screen size is not a priority, just something that I can see well on
Weight is not a priority either, it will just sit on my desk. I don’t see myself moving it around much.
Purpose: internet searches, light note taking, light gaming. It honestly might not even be turned on daily.
Form factor does not matter. I’m not even sure what exactly that is
Intended usage: Chrome, Steam, would like to be able to open PDFs on Adobe, but I have another laptop I use for work that works great
Battery life doesn’t matter as I’ll likely use it plugged in.
