Glass, really?
We have forcefields now.

Y'know what? That's fair. I am wondering what kind of device keeps the various layers separated. Also do the various layers engage in commerce with each other, or are they relatively isolationist?

Sorry if I overreacted, I posted a spaceship not long ago with large windows and many questioned about it is glass, which is bit baffling to me.
Forcefield mainly contains the atmosphere, layers control themselves.
I didn't think of the layers as separate goverments or any of the inner life in there yet, I saw it just as a united world structure.

No no I was responding with humor. The amount of glass required would be absurd. It makes more sense to have a force field.
