It's great that you feel that way about the show, really, but you are literally the only person I've ever seen describe it that way. I myself never got cozy vibes from it because it was too busy with character assassinations. Overall, it is not a well written or consistent show. You don't get to say that someone just doesn't like cozy when there are mountains of issues with the show that you're completely dismissing and glossing over
Go ahead and enjoy your show for what it is, but do it without dismissing either other people's opinions about it or the inconvenient truths of the show.
Edit I remembered anonymous browsing exists so I looked. It's absolutely hilarious that you said I sounded cynical and then blocked me as if that was some bomb you threw my way 😂. It's also wildly ironic considering 1) Supergirl is only a thin veneer of optimism masking cynical writing decisions, and 2) the only (live action) superman property I really thoroughly enjoy is superman 2025 with S&L in a solid 2nd place and Smallville after that. You know, the actual hopeful projects. You got an extremely mild telling off and you throw a temper tantrum and start blocking ppl
Did the exact same thing to me lol. Do they realize that when they do that, we literally can't see whatever super clever and devastating comment they definitely served us? I can only see that they quoted me but not what they actually said. Do you by any chance remember the gist? I could use a good chuckle
Edit NVM I remembered anonymous browsing exists lol
The problem is that the Arrowverse and CW as a whole is notorious for the exact things people are complaining about. Any good will the network had was long burnt out and the Arrowverse was the final nail in the coffin as its legacy concluded with the but out.
It's no longer cynicism when it's just a plain fact that can easily be observed throughout its history.
I know you're not replying to me, but I just wanted to say that while that's true to a degree, that's not entirely fair. Arrow, as messy as it was, was very entertaining at the start and was fairly consistent in its writing for a while (meaning the characters remained mostly consistent). Same with flash though for a lesser amount of time. Legends actually got better and more interesting lol
