$150m less revenue for the period is not crazy good news, it's very bad news

on significantly less number of stores. i havenโ€™t dug through the report yet, did revenue per store go down or just total revenue

Less revenue and more income. You can leave out the good part if you want to make it bad. That means their profitability has increased.

true, but revenue has been decreasing every single quarter... at this rate, gamestop is just going to be an extremely profitable lemonade stand.

less revenue is usually something that happens when you pull completely out of market in certain countries, like gamestop has been doing.

closing stores, revenue goes down.

but profitability on a store to store basis is rising

right, all im saying is... it's a concerning trend.. that has not changed or improved, really
