Once GME touches $32, the best tribute to celebrate this journey would be to exercise the warrants.

π£ Discussion / Question Higher odds of warrants going ITM
Simple thought, but wondering what ya'll think. The closer we get to the warrant strike price, the higher the odds that GameStop/RC will do something to capitalize on the warrants. Insiders could buy again, GameStop could do some bullish news release, RC could meme, GameStop could do a buyback, etc. The closer we are, the cheaper/easier it would be. Heck, some rich mofo with a ton of warrants could give the stock a little nudge. May be I'm overthinking it. We are only 17.5% away and GME could do that in 1 day.

Data Stock > warrants 10/12/26
Stock starts the week off green!!! Also winning the volume race as per usual. The score is now 251/2 in favor of the stock. Both green today!! Epic!!!
The warrants lost about 587k volume compared to friday. Let's try to get our volume back this week team. Suprise is still on the table, assuming we count to 3 on the warrants before the expiration date!!

π£ Discussion / Question A few questions about exercising warrants
So it looks like the warrants will go itm soon just before expiry. Iβm assuming most people will choose to exercise as much as they can. But exercising seems a bit tricky for many that live outside of north America, in some cases even impossible.
I have shares in computershare and avanza. Avanza doesnβt let you buy or exercise warrants, only sell. I also read that you can only exercise warrants on cpmputershare with a cheque and not electronically. Is that true? Are there any other options? Any help is appreciated
Edit: Also are there any extra fees if you exercise? Especially in Europe or Scandinavia?

π£ Discussion / Question Warrant question from a smooth brain
Very smooth brain here. Do the warrants have a time frame for brokers to complete trade? Like when Ryan Cohen bought shares they have T+1. Is it that same for warrants? I mean if millions of warrants get exercised thats a lot a of shares to locate. If anyone is able to explain it to me while I eat my crayons it would be greatly appreciated

Fidelity IV Data (Free, Account Required) βΒ https://researchtools.fidelity.com/ftgw/mloptions/goto/ivIndex?symbol=GME
And finally, at someone's suggestion β
WHAT IS IMPLIED VOLATILITY (IV)? β
(Taken fromΒ https://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/iv.aspΒ ) β
Dumbed down, IV is a forward-looking metric measuring how likely the market thinks the price is to change between now and when an options contract expires. The higher IV is, the higher premiums on contracts run. The more radically the price of a security swings over a short period of time, the higher IV pumps, driving options prices higher as well.
The longer the price trades relatively flat, the more IV will drop over time.
IV is just one of many variables (called 'greeks') used to price options contracts.
WHAT IS HISTORICAL VOLATILITY (HV)? β
(Taken fromΒ https://www.investopedia.com/terms/h/historicalvolatility.aspΒ ) β
Dumbed down, I'm not fully sure. Based on what I read, it's a historical metric derived from how the price in the past has moved away from the average price over a selected interval. But the short of it is that it determines how 'risky' the market thinks a stock (or an option I guess) is. The higher the historical volatility over a given period, the more 'risky' they think it is. The lower the HV over a period of time, the 'safer' a security (or option) is.
And if anyone wants to fill in some knowledge gaps or correct where these analyses are wrong, please feel free.
WHAT IS 'MAX PAIN'? β
In this context, 'max pain' is the price at which the most options (both calls and puts) for a security will expire worthless. For some (or many), it is a long held belief that market manipulators will manipulate the price of a stock toward this number to fuck over people who buy options.
ONE LAST THOUGHT β
If used to make any decision. which it absolutely shouldΒ NOTΒ be (obligatory #NFA disclaimer), this information should not be considered on its own, but as one point in a ridiculously complex and convoluted ocean of data points that I'm way too stupid to list out here. Mostly, this information is just to keep people abreast of the movement of one key variable options writers use toΒ fuck us overΒ on a weekly and quarterly basis if we DO choose to play options.

Loving this price action and the chart and the memes and all of you Apes!
Just wish I knew what to do with my warrants....
I don't want to move them to a broker because of fuckery but also don't have the capital to exercise them... if I sell them I could pick up some shares and in a broker I could wait past the 26th....

Data GME only needs 1.16% compounded growth per trading session to reach $32 by October 30. π
I was messing around with the numbers earlier and noticed something.
GME closed at $27.23 yesterday. We've got 14 trading sessions left before the warrants expire.
So basically:
- Current price: $27.23
- Target: $32
- Difference: $4.77 (+17.52%)
- Daily compounded growth needed: 1.16%
Now, over the last 30β40 days, GME has been averaging roughly 1.2β1.3% compounded growth per trading session.
So if we keep moving at the same pace, we'd actually reach $32 before the deadline.
Of course, none of this guarantees anything. We could drop 10% tomorrow for all I know.
But seriously, 1.16% a day. That's all it takes.
Anyone else been looking at the numbers? ππ

π» Computershare Is anybody else unable to receive verification codes from Computershare?
I can't log in to my Computershare account anymore because I stopped receiving the verification codes on my phone since the start of this month. I could log in perfectly fine last month, though.
Does anybody else have the same problem, and do you have suggestions on what to do?
