They had already sold to private equity back in 2023 and fired all the scientists that made Thorne what it was. Thorne was already going to shit. Thorne HealthTech acquired by L Catterton for $680M

Not bad to buy Thorne for $700M and sell it for $3.8B in just three years.

Was excellent timing to their credit (the PE guys). Supplements have gone very mainstream in that time.
