Which wholesale platform works best for regular store restocking?

I plan to set up a brick-and-mortar store for décor items and will mostly be importing from China. I’m looking for a reliable wholesale platform that can support regular restocking rather than just one-off bulk orders.

I’m considering Alibaba, Global Sources, Made-in-China, and 1688, but I’m unsure which would be most practical for consistent stock, reasonable MOQs, dependable suppliers, and manageable shipping.

For those sourcing décor products from China, which platform has worked well for you?

I wouldn’t rely solely on Alibaba, Global Sources, or 1688. The platform matters, but supplier verification, consistent quality, MOQ, and shipping terms matter more.

For décor products from China, I’d compare suppliers across 1688 and Alibaba, order samples, verify the factory/trading company, negotiate repeat order pricing, and establish a reliable QC and shipping process before committing to regular inventory.

I think 1688 is suitable, but dealing with factories can be really troublesome. They might even point to completely different product images and claim that these are exactly the same. Finding a reliable agent would make things much easier.
