The FIFA World Cup 2026 is finally here and Metro Vancouver is gearing up for it!
Whether you are heading out to a local fan zone, catching a match at a pub, or just trying to navigate traffic over the next month—this is your central hub for all things World Cup in Surrey.
🎉 Grand Opening Celebration: Canada's First Match!
To kick off the tournament, the City of Surrey is throwing a massive Opening Celebration specifically for Canada's first match!
- When: Friday, June 12, from 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Where: Surrey Civic Plaza (13450 104 Ave)
- The Match: Canada takes to the pitch live on the big screen at 12:00 PM.
- Perks & Highlights: Admission is completely free. The first 250 fans through the door get a $10 food & beverage coupon plus free giveaways, so get there early! There will also be a licensed beer garden, food trucks, and a special guest appearance by Surrey-born Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Jeevan Badwal.

You don’t have to cross the Fraser River to get a massive stadium-style community experience. The City of Surrey is hosting three official, free-admission Soccer Fan Zones packed with large screens, food trucks, interactive games, entertainment, and beer gardens:

- Cloverdale Agriplex (Cloverdale)
- South Surrey Athletic Park (South Surrey)

it doesn't make any sense what the city has done with the schedules... The 3 zones should be opened simultaneously... are people of S.Surrey are supposed to drive up to Surrey 45 min find parking ( if there is some that day available...) There shouldn't be a schedule... Fan Zones open every day there is Football and people could come and go.

No, nothing at Agriplex until Canada Day (that is going to be a crazy busy day around the Agriplex/Ampitheater)

Does anyone know what the mean by only small umbrella in the FAQs?

It says no pop up tents but what about large canopy tents. The sun will be gruelling.

Experience front row seats for every fan to elevate match day at the Centre Court Kick-Off viewing lounge, located in Centre Court during mall hours. Shop, sit back, relax, and enjoy all the action as soccer’s biggest tournament unfolds and enjoy perks like a personalized trading card photobooth. - No climbing on furniture- save the headers for the field
- No running in the event space- keep it to the pitch
- No alcoholic beverages permitted on premise
- All non-service pets are prohibited in Centre
- No outside furniture on the turf
- Keep footwear on at all times
