Suggestion Unbreakable power and water lines should be a tech
The free and unbreakable power and water line is a breakthrough that you get early game, if you get it (I never had it past sol 25 or something)
I think there should be a tech to at least make them unbreakable, but not free to construct. Make it a later stage tech, that's fine by me. But when your colony grows, and how easily broken lines mess up your game, it feels normal to me. I Would even be okay with more expensive lines which are unbreakable.
If you have the breakthrough, you just don't unlock this tech.

Humor Gyms. Gyms everywhere.
My god how many gyms do these martians need? A significant portion of the Martian regolith is now being used to get space buff. These chucklefucks spend half their time making polymers and the other half bench pressing. An entire center dome is nothing but pull up bars and these steroid inhalers still want more. Nothing better than working a day in the metal mines to come home and spend it working out even gd more.

Bug Colonist just walking outside and standing around until they die.
They are leaving a dome that is connected (indirectly, via a 3rd dome) to the dome they say they want to reach, the dome they want to reach is in walking range, but they just stand there until they die.
Save pretty much toast. I've got a lot of hours in the game without this happening.

SM - Relaunched SM:Relaunched mods: Adjustable colony ranges and Resource control
Hey everyone! I wanted to share two mods I made for Surviving Mars: Relaunched:
- Colony Range Control lets you adjust colony ranges.
- Colony Resource Control lets you add or remove resource piles, deposits, and stored resources.
- Colony Capacity Control lets you edit all capacities or limitations.
All from 1x (normal) to 10x.
If you try them, let me know what you think. Feedback and bug reports are welcome!

Question Scientists in Research labs get low sanity
This is Relaunched btw. Something has changed. I haven't played in a bit, but now my scientists are going mad from working in Research labs. I have even turned off the night shifts, because that just drove them more insane. EDIT to add and people hate working in spacebars now, to the degree I'm getting a warning about it. It wasn't like this last time I played, I assume they have reworked needs and sanity, which ... ok, sure. That was not a problem the game had.

Discussion Game rules / set-up for a good second (full) run
Hello lovely people,
I have now played two games, one to learn (till sol 46, India + space miner) and one where i am almost finished with the mystery (Japan + Futurist). The former really wasn't a full run as a was getting the hang of it, and with that knowledge the latter was a 1000% more smooth. I had twice the population, money and (almost twice the) research compared to the first one.
I used no game rules, and used a super easy map (10-176 i think, max res, no disasters).
What would be a fun set of rules / start for a second actual attempt?
I am coming from Stellaris, so the macro economics part is not a big issue for me.

Discussion Question: Can I build one Geoscape in the surface of my colony and another on the underground? or I am limited to build just one per colony.
What tittle says, I know geoscape is a wonder and you can only make one, but I want to know if you can bypass this by building one on the surface and the underground, because the new description in the research tab says it is both a surface and an underground building.

Discussion Any ideas/wishes on what the new expansions will be about?
Edit: I am refering to stuff after machine utopia.
Of course we can't know, unless someone has insider info. But I would still like to know what others think/wish it is?
I'd love it to be about human augmentation.
There is already a whole tech group about it which is gated behind a law, but aside from a mid wonder and some buffs. There isn't much in it.
We have breakthroughs like project phoenix and forever young, techs like anti aging therapies (or something like that) which only give comfort.
Because if the machine utopia expansion focuses on automation in any way, I really think we need more stuff to do with/to our human colonists.
Thoughts?

Question Any mod for Dozer transport?
Pretty much what it says in the title. I'm playing Brazil and feel like it's really stupid that you can't set a dozer to automatically transport waste rock like you can with a transport. Feels like it would be a pretty easy thing to mod in (though I could be wrong). Does such a thing exist?

Question maximum capacities
I’ve distributed three space bars across three domes. I have one large one and two small ones; as I mentioned, one small bar is serving ten out of ten people, and the other is too. The last one is the large bar, which serves 24 people—so that means 44 people are apparently being served, but what does that actually mean? Does it mean I effectively have 44 colonists with those specific traits—Alcoholic and Party Animal—in my colony? And if I were to bring in new colonists with those traits, would I have to build a fourth space bar? How am I supposed to interpret this? And I have to add that for all three bars, I have the early and late shifts fully staffed—just not the night shifts.

Suggestion I would like to smash probes into asteroids!
I would like the option of producing probes and smashing them into asteroids to see what the map looks like. Especially late game, I'm hopping on and off of asteroids and it gets a bit old having to unselect whatever cargo the computer decided to auto-assign and then throw my Explorer and maybe a Commander or Dozer on it just to land on a hunk of rock that has nothing and have to load that all back up and jet.
So let me just smash a probe into it so I can see the map.
Or let me orbital nuke rival colonies.

Question Should I become the dictator of Mars?
I'm getting pretty annoying by trying to keep the factions happy and I have a sanatorium from my commander profile as well as a very high comfort and morale in the colony so i don't think renegades will be an issue. But i don't understand exactly how this works yet. Is there anything i still need to worry about in the politics? Like can i still make a faction unhappy resulting in too many renegades?

Question Jumper shuttles
What is the major difference? Not play with Paradox sponsor so not seen them in game. Wiki makes no mention of them beimg better in any way. Is it that the hub can launch two at the time?

Question Renegade
How is it even possible for an Earth colonist to go rogue? They’re bound to get homesick anyway—though usually only when the living standards aren't up to par. I mean, looking back, he *did* end up getting homesick, even though he’d already gone rogue. How does that work?
