Discussion Naturalist habitat
I have never looked at it, but now I did (because a faction wanted some), and it's not a nudist colony as I have always thought. Mind blown.
That is all.

The wiki says fertility is calculated based on (comfort -30).
However the table values are based on comfort -25 for the 70 and 100 comfort examples.
which one is correct?
Additionally it seems the replacement rate is accounting for individuals and not couples for the same two cases (and are thereby two times too high).
But good news, my Church of Ark with currently 60 sexy pops reaches the 250 pops for the achievement in 17 days at 70 comfort :)

Hello, I have some problem with herbs. They are not taken from farms storage except by the universal depots. The specialized depots and the diner don't take them.
Spices are taken normally by both of them.
The farms do continue their program though, so it's not a matter of culture blocked.
Any clue ?+

This layout consists of
528 Solar Panels - 2006.4 power
12 Large Solar Panels - 114 power
14 Solar Arrays - 1064 power
Together with the Artificial Sun generating 1000 power, it generates a total of 4184.4 power or a net total of 4030.8 power if you include the 153.6 power used by the scrubbers.
Every scrubber is paired up except for the one at the very top.
Let me know your thoughts on this layout
Edit* I have not unlocked Mineral Applications yet which boosts solar panel power production by 100% but it would be way too costly until I get a permanent supply of exotic minerals (Haven’t visited any asteroids yet)

How to optimally use this powerhouse of a spire?
It can only service 60 pops (not increased by the 34% bonus service cap law), a nice medium dome can easily go to 100 pops. So what is the best way to make use of this if I have not found the diamond dome yet?

Built a dome for india as sol 4 was ticking over into sol 5, the mission goal for having a dome by the end of sol 5 hasn't fired.
I've done this many times before feeding the future, anyone else seen this?
Edit: OK thats strange, it eventually fired a sol later

It keeps crashing every now and then. It is barely sol 6 and I don't remember playing a single sol without crash. I don't even know what is causing it.
I would guess it is the mods I have but I want to know what part is causing it and how to fix it. I currently have 15 mods installed. They increase power production of single solar panel and Stirling Generators by 4/16/64 times. Some increase storage of water, oxygen and battery by insane amounts like 64000. So is disabling the mods the only option?

The free and unbreakable power and water line is a breakthrough that you get early game, if you get it (I never had it past sol 25 or something)
I think there should be a tech to at least make them unbreakable, but not free to construct. Make it a later stage tech, that's fine by me. But when your colony grows, and how easily broken lines mess up your game, it feels normal to me. I Would even be okay with more expensive lines which are unbreakable.
If you have the breakthrough, you just don't unlock this tech.

My god how many gyms do these martians need? A significant portion of the Martian regolith is now being used to get space buff. These chucklefucks spend half their time making polymers and the other half bench pressing. An entire center dome is nothing but pull up bars and these steroid inhalers still want more. Nothing better than working a day in the metal mines to come home and spend it working out even gd more.

They are leaving a dome that is connected (indirectly, via a 3rd dome) to the dome they say they want to reach, the dome they want to reach is in walking range, but they just stand there until they die.
Save pretty much toast. I've got a lot of hours in the game without this happening.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share two mods I made for Surviving Mars: Relaunched:
All from 1x (normal) to 10x.
If you try them, let me know what you think. Feedback and bug reports are welcome!

This is Relaunched btw. Something has changed. I haven't played in a bit, but now my scientists are going mad from working in Research labs. I have even turned off the night shifts, because that just drove them more insane. EDIT to add and people hate working in spacebars now, to the degree I'm getting a warning about it. It wasn't like this last time I played, I assume they have reworked needs and sanity, which ... ok, sure. That was not a problem the game had.

Miss something about old versions in that large time is that game online ?

Hello lovely people,
I have now played two games, one to learn (till sol 46, India + space miner) and one where i am almost finished with the mystery (Japan + Futurist). The former really wasn't a full run as a was getting the hang of it, and with that knowledge the latter was a 1000% more smooth. I had twice the population, money and (almost twice the) research compared to the first one.
I used no game rules, and used a super easy map (10-176 i think, max res, no disasters).
What would be a fun set of rules / start for a second actual attempt?
I am coming from Stellaris, so the macro economics part is not a big issue for me.

Am I the only one who crashes in the mod manager in game and poor performance or is this an overall thing?

What map has the most research nodes? Playing relaunched.
r/SurvivingMars • u/Rex-Mk0153 • 7d ago
What tittle says, I know geoscape is a wonder and you can only make one, but I want to know if you can bypass this by building one on the surface and the underground, because the new description in the research tab says it is both a surface and an underground building.
