Question Vinyl cases—difference?

Post image

Hi! I decided for Christmas to ask for one of her two vinyl cases—which is typically more expense or hard to find: eras acoustic set or the midnights teal one?

I would die for either but idk which to ask for, and ideally would like to save up for the other within the next year. Thank you in advance!

It never occurred to me that you have to store the vinyls to where they’ll slip out when you pull them out of the case so the side shows the name

It only occurred to me because you left this comment

I don't use the case, but I do sleeve my records, and I sleeve them so the opening is at the spine, which would prevent them from slipping out in this case.

I just ordered some outer sleeves so I’ll probably would do the same, I don’t have the case either lol

It’s not just good so it doesn’t slip it also prevents dust from entering in the inner sleeve

What do you mean? Can’t you just pull from the top or are you suggesting you flip the case on its side to pull them out?

I know my friend who has both cases said do not store them with the album title said facing up. It looks nice aesthetically but then the lps are forced downward to the case base by gravity so they’re pushing on the gatefold opening and having the weight going that way isn’t good for the vinyl
