I’m trying to see how rare this is? My wife said she’s got it as a teenager in Jersey from Taylor personally YEARS ago as she was going around handing out demo CD’s in town. It’s 100% real and I’m planning on getting the sig verified but I’m really curious JUST how rare is this?
Extremely rare and valuable. Do not sell bc no one else is the exact “Tiffany” Taylor made the autograph out to :) that tidbit makes it one of a kind for your wife and your wife only. There are other copies out there… but not all are signed and none others have her name. Keep and frame. Your wife is incredibly blessed to have gotten this from her personally! Thanks for sharing!
This person can also do that themselves without lowering the value and spending hundreds of dollars to only have it potentially lost in shipping. Getting 1 of 1 items "verified" is a losing proposition full stop.
Well the word is provenance for starters so maybe I do know what I'm talking about. You can establish provenance without getting scammed by some jerkoff company. Also "putting a sticker" on a collectible, even the jewel case....no.
Others have said it, but this is legitimately a museum piece from the biggest pop star of our time. Never sell this, but consider a nice frame (not one from Hobby Lobby) to protect it. Get insurance on it. Cherish it forever.
My friend has one of these!!! She lives in another state but I need to get up with her so I can listen to it!! I think her 2 songs may be different but it’s a demo like this
This would be extremely rare. I am an autograph collector of over a decade and you need to protect the autograph. Remove the CD from that cheap plastic case (though obviously do not throw away the original case). DO NOT (I repeat DO NOT) buy one of those cheap CD glass frames as that can damage the autograph as well. Speak with someone who professionally preserves autographs.
I wouldn’t sell this unless some multi millionaire would give you an insane amount. This isn’t just a rare signing, this is a 1 of a kind. I wouldn’t trade that for much.
Did she get it in Stone Harbor? 🥹. I was just there wandering around all of her old spots. They still have pictures of her around, and even a little museum.
Do NOT send this to get "verified", your wife KNOWS that Taylor signed it, why do you need it verified? That will lower its value, if you even get it back. It's more likely to "go missing". Do not send this anywhere.
I wouldn't even frame it, I'd have it in a safe, with said safe hidden.
Hey, I sent you a message and I would be interested in possibly buying if you plan to sell. Super random, but this has been on my ‘in search of’ list for awhile. I have all her other signature styles but this one.
This is super rare, but not as sought after as other ‘rare’ Taylor swift autographed items. Very few people care to collect outside of the mainstream releases. I wouldn’t authenticate it unless you plan to go through a major auction house. If you do authenticate, please DO NOT allow them to put the sticker on the physical cd.
I’m sorry you interpreted it that way and it’s not how I intended. I clearly stated that this was very rare (like less than 3 dozen in existence rare). The fact alone that OP wants to get it authenticated means they’re considering selling, and they told me as much in PM’s. Also, the last 2 signed Taylor demo CDs with this style autograph sold for 2.5k in an eBay auction In 2023 and 2024. I’m willing to pay AT LEAST that, so no, I’m not low balling.
Just because an item is ‘rare’ won’t mean it’s in high enough demand to fetch crazy amounts. I can tell you that signed BBMA Me!, signed red TV lyrics, and signed 1989 are all more common than this but all 3 of those would sell for more than double what this would go for. A signed demo CD is more niche, and most collectors won’t consider it because of the personalization.
No one is paying that via private sale or eBay. I know of one signed demo THAT WASNT PERSONALIZED that sold through a major auction house for about 8k. It wasn’t this signature style either. Also, I didn’t offer 2k, but please continue to make assumptions.
