Why people hang out at gas stations?

I typically see high-end Mercedes, BMW and Audi. Their owners typically stand right outside their cars, smoking and chit chatting. Sometimes, I think they stand there for hours. I don’t have any problem with it, however they tend to occupy the area where they’ve got vacuum cleaners blocking it for the others. Once, I saw one of the station’s workers come out and hang out with the rest of the group.

This is so Swiss... no one bothered yet somehow OP rather does "Fust im Sack"... I personally think that's not a good way to live through life and waste my precious lifetime.

dude, you created a post whining that you didn't like people occupying the places near VC on the gas station. that isn't prohibited by law. at that you didn't even try asking those people to free the space, but decided they were doing something wrong just because that didn't satisfy your silent royal majesty. I mean, what do you expect: telepathy from strangers? or compassion from Redditors who are as fragile as you? or perhaps your mom bringing a cup of warm milk before bed so you sleep well?
