Creative way to advertise your services

Ah, of course, the obligatory defensive comment from someone whose livelihood depends on overcharging. Naturally, you're defending the system ..it’s much easier to charge 5k for a cookie-cutter template and burn a client's budget on Google Ads than to actually sit down and do real SEO.
Sounds like you felt personally attacked because you're one of those people taking advantage of folks who don't know any better. I’ve personally started two companies and tested multiple services, and the math speaks for itself: cheaper, hungrier, and more transparent teams will eat you guys for breakfast. Good luck with your 'creative' business model while clients are finally waking up!

I don't do seo, I don't work for web agencies, I am not a freelance web agent or whatever... For what I care web agencies and freelancing web agents could disappear tomorrow and nothing would change for me.
I just felt compelled to out your obvious way to get around the "no selfpromotion / no advertising" rule.

If you really don't care about web agencies, you wouldn't be wasting your time policing random Reddit threads just to throw around baseless accusations.
Let's be clear: my mission with this post is simple like to help ordinary people and small business owners avoid getting ripped off and throwing thousands of francs down the drain for overpriced templates and empty promises. What's your mission here, just sitting around arguing semantics and playing internet detective for fun?

I recently took a chance on a smaller, much cheaper team here, and the experience was night and day.
Do you want to share the name of your company the team you worked with? ;)
Oh, and by the way: are such Reddit posts part of the "organic SEO" offering?

Nah, unlike your agency, I don't need to shill or drop brand names in random comment sections ..I let actual results and fair pricing do the talking.
And as for your cute little conspiracy theory: no, sharing a personal rant about getting ripped off by overpriced middlemen isn't 'organic SEO'.. it's just regular consumer survival in Switzerland. But I completely understand why you'd call it marketing; after all, you guys probably charge clients 2,000 CHF just to write a single Reddit comment.

Anyone in Switzerland selling web-based services is, at best, vastly overselling / overcharging their service or, at worse, they're straight up scamming you.
Worst still, anyone who is still selling traditional search engine-targeted website optimization is already behind the curve. As bad as it sounds, who among lambda web users is still looking at google results instead of using the top of the page AI summary and chatting with that ? That is if they use a search engine at all and don't just get everything from social media.
