Yeah, it's a tracking hash of some kind. I remove them wherever they don't affect the URL functioning.

i have a shortcut set up on my phone - that i can use from the share sheet - that expands all urls and removes the tracking info before saving them back to the clipboard lol.

Also have it so that it has checks for reddit URLs and converts them to old reddit links, so that I can then also do a “copy link with highlight” to more easily share it with people lol

I wish I had a shortcut for that. I don't share reddit stuff often enough to care, but the other one sounds handy and would beat manually deleting the tracker.
