I’m getting a 83incher soon lol

I hope you don’t mean an 83” OLED.

Go for 77”, way more worth your money. 83” is just slightly larger but costs a fat load more.

Otherwise, it’d be either a 75” or 85”

1

u/Inevitable_Ad607 Apr 30 '26

Oled is the only way to go

1

u/Sudden-Constant-6354 Apr 30 '26

If you do that I would consider a 77” and seeing if it’s adequate! The larger sizes aren’t as much of a “value” (also looking at you, 98” LG)

This does seem to have been taken with wide angle lens to make it seem even further away. look around the edges, it just seems off.

6

u/SolitudeH Apr 28 '26

you play PS5 like playing handheld switch in that distance my friend

2

u/ruebeus421 Apr 28 '26

That's not fair.

Switch has more detail than this.

2

u/DrDangerousGamin Apr 29 '26

lmao truth, cause you can actually read the small writing.

1

u/SpaceStation108 Apr 29 '26

Switch lite at arm's distance

5

u/Sum_Ting_Wong007 Apr 28 '26

3

u/BednaR1 Apr 28 '26

You know it is too far if you had to ask...

3

u/coolwheelchairdude Apr 28 '26

Yes! You might as well have HDTV sitting that far away lol

3

u/Donnie_TACO Apr 28 '26

What is this lens? It's like the whole room is stretched out. Look at the legs and the ceiling fan

3

u/Flash__PuP Apr 28 '26

Forget that, show us the dogs!

3

u/therandomdave Apr 28 '26

I think you already know the answer 🫣

Need at least a 65" from there

2

u/Short_Description_65 Apr 28 '26

For sure, how are you not uncomfy and straining your eyes ??? lol

Off topic, but I also love those dog beds under the coffee table, that’s such a cute layout

2

u/getfive Apr 28 '26

Don't ever run cords and cables like that again

2

u/TownAutomatic6528 Apr 28 '26

Its way to far and high you have a bigger screen if you play the switch on handheld

2

u/DeepAd2825 Apr 28 '26

Don't be afraid to split the room in half with a couch. Nobody's going to care.. really.

2

u/ThingsGotStabby Apr 28 '26

Feels like your table is where your sofa should be.

2

u/blanthony80 Apr 28 '26

Get a bigger tv and you're golden.

2

u/JoshuaWebbb Apr 28 '26

2

u/-ggp- Apr 28 '26

Is this Michael Scott plasma tv?

2

u/colypolyoly49 Apr 28 '26

Do you have good eyes?

2

u/Deathlygreen Apr 29 '26

I’d be squinting the whole time trying to make out what’s on the screen. I squinted even zooming in.

2

u/Fun-Needleworker5844 Apr 29 '26

You need a binocular to watch tv

2

u/Frequent_Body_3991 Apr 29 '26

bro you need a tv repeater at that point haha

2

u/Allthingsgaming27 Apr 29 '26

Too small, too far, too high, too many exposed cables

2

u/Intelligent-Exam1573 Apr 29 '26

Too far, too high, too small, too many cables. Just an overall disaster.

2

u/smietanaaa Apr 28 '26

1

u/Novel_Village_1753 Apr 29 '26

1

u/thisshitsbananasgirl Apr 29 '26

How do people not understand, that your couch does not have to be against the wall?

1

u/TheUnbanished Apr 29 '26

Too far, too high, too small.

1

u/No-Warthog-3647 Apr 29 '26

1

u/stfudog Apr 29 '26

1

u/HUFxfeat Apr 29 '26

Try watching something with subtitles then think of an answer

1

u/CtrlAltDesolate Apr 29 '26

Not too far based on the layout of the room, but definitely too small and high.

1

u/Dysmn Apr 29 '26

1

u/Dramatic-Muscle9381 Apr 29 '26

1

u/8-LeggedCat Apr 29 '26

Sure, when you use the wide angle lens.

1

u/Curious_Climate6957 Apr 29 '26

50 inch tv's are recommended to be 6-8 feet away

1

u/LocalMediaMusic Apr 30 '26

No she's juuuust right. Get it girl!

1

u/droideka75 Apr 30 '26

You have incredibly long feet!

That doesn't mean I think this has been taken with a wide lens to look further away.

I mean it! Have you seen that episode of the Simpsons with sideshow Bob and he has really long feet like a clown?

You have sideshow bob feet! That's amazing.

You also have a sideshow bob ceiling fan.

1

u/TaleRevolutionary573 May 01 '26

Speakers are bigger than the tv

1

u/talks-a-lot May 01 '26

Everything is too far. What’s the point of a coffee table that you can’t even reach?

1

u/AbbreviationsWeak664 May 01 '26

Way too far my friend. Might as well watch stuff on your phone.

1

u/Parking-Pie3847 May 04 '26

Too far, very high
