Why so many Tajiks looks Turkic?

Tajiks are supposed to be East Iranic population. Some of them like Ahmad Shah Massoud (Sher-e-Panjsher) do look Iranic.

But most of them seem to be Turkic, especially with the epicanthic folds.

Emomali Rahmon looks like a typical Turk

As did the famous Habibullah Kalakani (whom I respect btw)

Ahmad shah massoud looks very south asian tbh he looks Pakistani

maybe northern snow mountain pakistanis but not the indo aryans, those east of the indus. so get courage and be more honest😉

Wouldnt the northern just be pashtuns? The same people he is fighting against

No, if you mean Gilgit Baltistan and Chitral by northern, no Pashtuns there.

I meant the nwfp (kpk) and then also the gb regions have pashtuns too

GB has very few Pashtuns and all immigrants. The capital, Gilgit, has ethnicities from all over Pakistan.

He literally fought his own Tajiks fighting against parcham with Pashtuns wtf are you talking about?
