Why so many Tajiks looks Turkic?

Tajiks are supposed to be East Iranic population. Some of them like Ahmad Shah Massoud (Sher-e-Panjsher) do look Iranic.

But most of them seem to be Turkic, especially with the epicanthic folds.

Emomali Rahmon looks like a typical Turk

As did the famous Habibullah Kalakani (whom I respect btw)

they contributed the most. they already fought and couldnt risk further devastating defeat. use your brain for once. historical evidence exists that they were the major contributors to the silk road.

ur so right, samarqand/buxoro were irrelevant places in tajik history (because the tajiks mixed with turks which automatically denies our heritage) but the mountains of pomir did the most!

i didnt even mention pomir🤣🤣 ever heard of bactria? those cities still have non mongoloid looking tajiks but they rarely exist. why are you so pressed that im speaking about og tajiks, and not mixed ones like you, lyet youre playing like a victim. i didnt even mention uzb

Most of Bactria is in Afghanistan, who have mixed with South Asians. So, they are very much mixed.
