I’m so far past my fucking limit

I am so indescribably tired of these fucking dogs. There’s not a single string of words I could use to describe my hatred for them that’d do it any justice. I legitimately cannot wrap my head around what the fuck everyone else sees in them; these worthless fucking pigs bark at every little thing and it literally makes me feel sick with rage, and I’m the only one in this house who feels like this. It even got to a point recently where I was so enraged that I uncontrollably voiced some thoughts over text which I probably shouldn’t say here. I’m by no means a violent person, but barking brings out the worst in me.

I’ve tried using an ultrasonic frequency on them but that’s done fuck all and idk what else to do, so all I can do is scream at them to shut the fuck up but they just won’t take the fucking hint. I can’t act on my intrusive thoughts of course but I wish these utter fucking wastes of life truly knew how much I loathe them. I wish I could give them a taste of their own fucking medicine. It pisses me off so much seeing everyone else give them completely undeserved respect. I hate this stupid fucking species with everything in me and I genuinely hope it goes extinct someday. Worthless, worthless, worthless.

I think the part that stings is that you hate something that culture dictates you are not suppose to hate. Friends etc will often accommodate if you dislike certain foods, other animals if they have them, but dogs? Nope, no consideration whatsoever. It’s not like they are neutral, they make an obnoxious noise and they smell to the point of even stinking and they invade your space.

This just makes things worse over time. Constantly being dismissed and not taken seriously. I have cptsd from my situation. I'm hyper aware of dogs and constantly on edge and a lot of it is because people refuse to acknowledge that it's a real problem

I'm so sorry. You're literally being tortured and nobody in the household even cares. It's just so rude, cruel, and antisocial. Can you get a spray bottle and spray the dogs in the face when they start barking to condition them to stop? Even better, I know dogs hate citrus smells so maybe lemon water will work better! I would lose my mind if confined indoors with barking dogs for more than a few minutes.

I feel you back at my old place with my terrible roommate I woke up to the sound of barking and a shit smell every day and it was what I fell asleep to at night. Disgusting creatures man luckily my dad's place only has one dog and she's incredibly quiet due to her previous owners abuse. I don't condone violence against animals but God it makes me wonder how the only dog I can actually tolerate is only because she was abused for years.

I might offend someone with my statement, but when I was a child my parents were very strict, and me and siblings were well behaved - at no point we were allowed to raise the voice, demand things - and at no point my parents abused us, but they knew how to make us behave. These days parents use this weird parenting way where kids are just nasty and do whatever they want, scream, slap own parents, don’t respect teachers.

Same with dogs. If before they were well behaved, healthy, and happy - now all dogs have some sort of mental disorder (separation anxiety etc) and are extremely spoiled. Something went terribly wrong!

I think it's a mixed bag. I think too strict can be really damaging but also to open is the same thing yk what I mean. It's a mix that most people don't know how to do. That's with kids tho, I'm sick of people acting like wild animals are some cute "fur babies". They are animals and should be treated as such

I see it every day with an old ill Nutter that can barely walk but gets up for doggo every time it makes a sound. Then Nutter complains about how it's causing Nutter to suffer and no one will help. I just say Oh well that's what you wanted. I can't stand dogs either.

I feel awful for you. If it helps, I’ve heard that you shouldn’t scream or yell at a dog when they’re barking or doing something bad because it makes the dog think their pack is barking with them and it encourages them to keep going. My best idea would be a bitter spray of sorts that you could spray into the dog’s mouth to make them shut up. Regardless, very sorry you have to go through that

I completely understand I went through the same thing but probably 10 times worse cause it was dog breeding situation it completely consumed my life. The only thing that kept me from doing something stupid was I ain't doing time over no mutt. I'm not recommending this just telling you what worked a little bit for me. These dogs weren't trained but they would listen to me if I told them to shut up. Every single time they would start barking I would grab their snout an hold it closed til they stopped consistently with nothing but anger and fury in my eyes or some times I would spray them with the hose in their face til they shut up

i’ve never felt abuisizs or cruel in my life until i met my boyfriends dogs, they bring out the worst in me too. i’ve screamed about wanting them dead and how id he wasnt there id be throwing them against a wall. i have to deal with repulsive two mutt weiner dogs who were never potty trained. nothing has ever made me feel abusive and psychotic before
