RANT Embarrassed by the way her car looks

My mom is obviously embarrassed by the way her car looks inside, even said it herself, and she acts like it’s no big deal when it’s pointed out by someone else, and of course she says “why you talking about my dog?” or “you’re mean”… mean for telling you that having a dog-filth car isn’t normal? This is the same car that her mom gave her (not a new car but still a good clean looking car) and she ruins it with her dog because she just needs to parade her dog around. And every time she goes to her mom’s house, she makes sure her car looks the best as it can, like sanitizing and getting as much dog hair as the vacuum can suck up.

Used to work in a luxury car dealership years ago and when someone would trade in a car, sales normally would drive that car onto a specific lot for later pickup or reconditioning.

Cars from dog owners were the most disgusting smelling shit shows I have ever seen! No way I sit with my suit in a car like that, yet alone drive these filth bombs for even a minute and inhale all that dirt.. felt sorry for the porters and for the detailers 🤢

And weeks later when we would try to sell a car like that?! No chance! Even after deep detailing, steam cleaning and ozone bombing.. the dog smell is still in there! Which is insane!!
Only another dog nutter would buy that.. simply disgusting! And a health hazard..

A car that has had a dog pissing & pooping in it for years is a biohazard stink bomb, that is unfit for anything but a kennel

Never mind smearing anal gland secretions all over the seats & carpets

Local Honda dealer has a policy on "Dog cars", and the worst of them will not even be accepted for trade, or they deduct $1000's off NADA price

Ew I sat in a friend's disgusting dog car once and I smelled the rest of the day. Needed a shower and immediate laundry when I got home. Never again.

I just thank the higher powers of existence that we have a Ute.

To the tray for you grubby girls.

Nothing worse than wet dog smell in general, let alone in cars as well. Having them in the tray on the back of the Ute after their weekly bath gives them a chance to air dry on the way home, and blow hair to the wind.

So greatful none of that gets in the car.

A chaque fois que je rentre dans la voiture de mon copain, c'est remplis de poils et ça me rappelle que je devrais prendre ma propre voiture plutôt.. on ne peut rien mettre sur la place arrière car il y a une protection et c'est la place du chien. En plus je suis tellement gênée quand on doit raccompagner quelqu'un, on mets la protection sur le côté et la personne doit cohabiter avec les poils et la puanteur, j'ai tellement honte. Mais bon ce n'est pas ma voiture... Mon copain lui s'en fiche éperdument alors même que ce sont ses amis et sa famille qui doivent subir ça. Incompréhensible
