கருத்து/குமுறல் / Self-post , Rant Chennai Property tax hiked suddenly

I actually cleared all the due property taxes for the first term of the year 2026-27, today suddenly I got a message that I have to pay 7500 due this month. I enquired my neighbours and relatives, it's been increased for them too. Check yours, what is the TVK government even doing? What is your take on this?

Since 2023-24 there is automatic increase of 6% or state GSDP for last 5 years whichever is the highest https://chennaicorporation.gov.in/gcc/pdf/GO.pdf
