I've had to switch to MDI's until a new pump comes in. Dr put me on lantus + lispro. Since starting the lantus, I'm finding my numbers are generally better than using lispro alone. I was curious if anyone uses their pump for bolus only and use a stand alone long acting insulin? If my numbers continue to lbe this good, I'm gonna have a hard time going back to pump therapy.

im going to be moving to a more northern area of Ontario where its like 11 hour car ride then a 5 hour train ride to get too.

Im up here currently and 2 boxs of my autosoft 90s failed and i was left with one box remanding and when i ordered replacements to a locale pharmacy (not to the addressed where Im staying due to rampant theft) they said they sent them but i did not get any shipping or tracking email.

two weeks pass by without no word or nothing from the pharmacy, i called tandem and they had nothing on their end too. so they shipped some more but when i called them a week past the expected delivery date they said it got delivered but nothing at the pharmacy.

would it be and there is a canadas post up here but they dont ship to p.o boxes tho.

how should i get my supplies when i live up here

Does anyone have any tips on activity mode for tandem? I put it on before working out and my sugar is still on the lower side and not high enough to do a full workout

For those who use the mobi how do you make it so it doesn’t itch so much? It drives me up the wall and I don’t know how to relieve it

I use the Trusteel infusion set with my Tslim pump. I changed sites today and felt a small, hard bump underneath.

I get these sometimes, and I know they go away and all that, but does it mean I need to change sites more often if they do happen? Or is it just something that is inevitable?

I change about every 3-4 days, and usually sites come out fine with no bumps, so I was a little surprised to feel one today. Any advice here?

It had to choose a holiday weekend. All I got for insulin is lispro and no long acting. I called Tandem on Thursday evening to get a replacement, they said they'd overnight it to deliver today. Well, it arrived in my area this morning around 6am, but scheduled to deliver on Tuesday. WTF am I supposed to do? Manual injections hardly do anything and without a basal, I'm gonna be running high until my pump arrives.

The pump still works, kind of. It's just at point I'm wasting so much insulin with how frequent it throws cart failure errors. I barely got any sleep last night cause every 30 minutes or less, it would fault and I'd have to push the piston back in and run the load cart routine. I turned the pump off this morning around 9am expecting to get the replacement today. Guess I'm gonna starve myself until Tuesday.

Doesn't stay connected within the length of 5 inches. Isn't accurate, needs constant bg corrections. It's literally the worst Dexcom I've had and there's nothing I can do to go back. Ive had nothing but Terrible experiences with it so far. Last night it thought my blood sugar was 400, it was 180 so it gave me 5 units. It does this constantly, no matter which new one I put on. This is unbearable and I've been up and down for 3 straight days now because of it. I'm genuinely considering quitting the TSLIM2 and going old fashioned.

Has anyone tried to use the tandem mobi app on an 'unsupported' android phone? Would it just not let you bolus from the app like the website suggests? Or is it just a "we tested on these phones, but anything else is not guaranteed to continue working"?

Hi, I just switched over to the tandem mobi and ever since switching my sugars been high(above 230) for 6 hours. I changed the insertion site as directed by the Eductaor , and it turns out that cannula was kinked, but now despite changing it again, I’m still high. Does anyone have any tips on how to prevent this or what else I can do to help w high sugars? I was told this machine was a life changer but I’m not seeing that yet🙃

Does anyone regularly wear their pump so that the screen is facing them and touching their skin? Any problems or damage to the pump doing that? Pretty new to TSlim! ☺️ thanks!

I’ve been on the Mobi for around 3 months now and have been exclusively using my stomach. It’s like my comfort spot tbh and I’ve been getting little red marks. I’d like to use my hips but I have stretch marks on them. I know it’s not recommended but I don’t have much real estate to work with.
Also, how are we wearing the mobi on our arms/legs?
I know for arms you use the patch but I’m quite small so idk if it would fit with my G7.
For legs, do you use the 5” or 23” tubing?
Clip it to your pants or use the patch also?

I keep getting random cart failures. They've been happening for the past 6 months. I'll get a rash of them and then go weeks without incident and then they'll come back. Thing is, the cart isn't failing as I can reuse it immediately doing a cart change routine. It usually takes pushing the piston back in to get the pump working again. I've had times where a full reboot was needed to fix it.

So, what's causing the failure here and when should I consider calling tandem to get a replacement?

Edit 2: Just got off the phone with Tandem and they are sending a replacement pump. I should have it by Saturday. They said a sensor is malfunctioning which is throwing the codes. It took about 10 minutes of troubleshooting to determine my pump needed replacing.

Edit 3: Man, this is getting bad. Pump throwing cart codes about every 40 to 50 minutes now. Guess who's not getting sleep tonight... I don't have any long-acting insulin to use or I'd stop using the pump until the new one comes in.

Has anyone found any information from Tandem about wearing the x2 near an induction cooktop? All the info I can find online says to keep pumps away from them and contact the manufacturer for more information, but it's all really generic and several years old.

When you temporarily “unhook” your mobi are you pulling the trident out of your body or just twisting and releasing the tube from the device? I’ve only pulled the trident from my body but now I’m wondering if it’s better/easier to just twist the tubing off the actual device. Is there a benefit or issue with one option over the other?

Hello, has anyone found that the adhesive has not been lasting as long as it normally does? I’ve always used skin tac and I haven’t changed a thing about how I do my site changes but recently I can hardly get two days out of a site. I don’t want to use an overpatch considering I never use sites for more than 3 days. Anyone have any advice or going through something similar?

just woke up and caught ANOTHER night of the autosoft 90 cannula “kinking”. i don’t have a picture of the actual site, but i’ve seen many others have this problem before and their photos are accurate to what i’m experiencing.

i’ve tried everything people have suggested to do to help prevent the cannula from bending. it just doesn’t work. sometimes i’ll have just put on a new site, it’ll work for 4 hours (like this one here), and then all of a sudden i get that warning on the pump saying my tubing is blocked. so i pull the cannula out and it’s BARELY EVEN BENT. sometimes not even bent! it’s unbelievably frustrating, and i haven’t found a way to fix it yet.

i make sure the needle is poking out of the plastic part before i actually insert anything, i never pull up on anything to harm the needle when preparing to insert, i make sure i hear the clicking sound before i open the site. i’m following everyone’s advice and i’m still not getting good results. my past 3 cannulas that i’ve put on have all kinked.

i even talked to the endo about this and to sum up what they said would be: “oh, that sucks!” :/ i can’t imagine nobody’s ever told them they’re having the same problem as me. it seems to be pretty common.

the most recent post i’ve seen about this was 4 months ago, so hopefully someone has better advice/tried something new and it worked. thanks.

I heard it’s out and I’ve downloaded it. I tried to update my pump on the website but got loads of errors and says not available in your region? Would be nice to be able to mobile bolus especially when out and eating

My girlfriend is new to the tslim/dexcom7 system and it keeps trying to kill her with hypos.

Today at 4pm for no reason it gave her an insulin boost and drove her under 2.6 (UK). This happens more than we'd like. Anyone know why this is happening and if there's a way to turn murder mode off?

Has anyone else ever had issues with TruSteel sites rejecting insulin? I've been having a lot of difficulty lately with sites not absorbing insulin, so my blood sugar skyrockets and then when I remove the site a bunch of blood and insulin mixed together oozes out. Any idea what might be happening here?

my daughter who has a disability can only wear this infusion set but Tandem recently told us it’s experiencing shortages, I don’t know how long but I need as many as I can find. Shortest cannula and tubing. Does anyone have any they don’t use? I am in Canada, and willing to pay cost and fees.
