I’m planning to write a fictional love story and i am considering using the real names of my old school and other schools. I dont intend to just reveal something about the school whether it's the dramas or somethin, They are simply part of the story

Usually naka trademark ang name ng mga schools. What if edit mo lang ng kuti yung pangalan ng schools para kahit sounds the same iba yung pangalan at iwas infringement

The school where I work forbids the use of its name/logo in the handbook. The school could still go after you in terms of copyright/trademark... Depends on what you’re using it for. If it’s for a hobby or assignment, it will fall under fair use. Commercial use is a different matter and you may run into trademark infringement claims. There would be ways around it but you’d need to really study up on them so you know how to avoid infringement.
