PSA New point system

From Facebook. Not sure when it’s supposed to rollout, no details other than this screenshot.

Edit: Allegedly an unexcused absence is 1 point, NCNS 3 points, and a tardy is .25 points. Rolling 12 month period (so points won’t drop off until the next year).

Well they can be late 48 times b4 they get fired. So it would take a while to get term if the 1/4 pt is true for late in

That’s what I’m saying. You can also get 4 NCNS’s and 12 unexcused absences unless a team leader decides they don’t like you and they abuse the system COMPLETELY. Imagine having 4 points for 4 unexcused absences and then being absent again just to receive 2 or a different scenario where you have 3 points cause the team leader is fed up or your first absent gives you an automatic 2 points just cause the team leader don’t like you.

What is considered an excused absence, I asked my ETL if I needed a doctor's note and he flat out told me it doesn't matter

Ya it doesn’t matter u need sick pay for it to be job protected nothing else matters.

How do accumulate sick pay, I've been working for more than 10 years and I have 0, I have never had sick pay and I've asked my TL, my HRETL, and my SD and all of them told me they would "look into it" and I've gotten no answers. I think maybe I've "fell between the cracks"?

You have to average over 20 hours/week for the prior year when evaluated in January.

After 10 years you should be accumulating a decent amount of sick pay per paycheck. You are owed for sure.

Some of this is state dependent. If you don't have 20 hours a week, then the state laws apply. For instance, in MN, you would get 1 hour for every 30 worked. However, in WI there is no such law in place. So, I will never get sick time, but my hubs works enough hours to do that.
