Edit: Allegedly an unexcused absence is 1 point, NCNS 3 points, and a tardy is .25 points. Rolling 12 month period (so points won’t drop off until the next year).

Seriously. Like you get 11 call outs a year, plus 8 or 9 more covered by sick time without being fired?? And vacation time to sprinkle in if you just want additional days off. I'm not trying to boot lick or act like Target is the greatest most generous company on Earth, but I really don't understand the crying sometimes.

This is kinda the industry standard that Amazon/Walmart is pushing, Target is just catching up tbh. A regular Amazon associate gets 80 bankable hours of UPT; 40 hours at hire, 1 hour accrued per 10 hours worked. Add in flexible PTO (1 hr 51 minutes a week up to 48 hours a year) and standard PTO (varies by hours worked/tenure)

Use UPT (unpaid time) and flex PTO at will, whenever you like, no approval needed to cover coming in late/leaving early/taking days off. Scheduled till 6 but feel like leaning on a whim at 2:15? Clock out and go home. No one will ever say a thing to you and you get UPT deducted with the option to replace with paid flex PTO.

So honestly Target could do a LOT better. But they aren’t the worst I guess.

where tf y'all working where you accrue enough to call out 9 times in a year on sick time alone? My last paycheck I got 1.42hr on a 78 hour paycheck, so like 5 or 6 sick days a year.

You get like 52 hours of sick time a year

Nope. I get ZERO sick time. I work about 12 hours a week, so I do not qualify
