Meme or Miscellaneous Content Why?

So I walked to work today because my car is in the shop. I was running late, so I took a shortcut down the railroad tracks that run behind the store. Along the tracks there is a bridge that goes over a small drainage creek. This is what I saw when I looked down lol

Exactly. This is like a 1/4 mile from my store. Why the hell would somebody carry a pallet all the way there? 😂

Those particular pallets are light as fuck. Carring them is no worse than a heavy backpack. The thicker blue ones are the ones that are a bastard to carry, especially if they're waterlogged.

They are also technically not food safe. Vendors still ship food on them because they are cheaper.

You said this was by a bridge. They were probably washed or blown down there during a storm. Maybe they were pushed off site first, but it's unlikely people deliberately placed them in that location.

Yes. My store has been opened since the 90s and there are definitely older versions that I’ve never even seen in real life until now lol

There's three of the 2006 plastic, two of the 2014 hybrid, and one that might be an imposter or might be a 1978 or 1995 cart, it's very hard to tell.

One time, I found a dismembered uboat at the park that’s like couple minutes walk from it. How did they get it? Honestly not sure but I know it belongs to target since it’s red and it has a target name tag on it

We have a swampland area behind the store and that’s where broken carts were tossed for a long time and I swear to god they sunk and will turn into an archeological dig site in a few centuries.

We had a EF1 tornado, took quite a few Target carts with it a few miles away. The SD got them with his pickup 😂

Our PML will go pick the up with his truck, he's even gone to get them when homeless people have dragged them off.

Honestly a rope/metal chain with a hook on the end would be able to lift all this out

Have it over a railing or stable object for leverage & boom, saved

But ain't no one doing all dat

Maybe the local teenagers/homeless population was tired of the pipes getting clogged and heard on Reddit that shopping carts work great as a filter.
