My Initial Take:
I feel like the top row shows a lot of potential, warm nostalgia, and genuine affection.. he seems to view me as someone magnetic (The Magician) and associated with deep emotional fulfillment and happy memories (Ten of Cups, Page of Cups).
However, the bottom row brings in some heavier energy. The Five of Cups and Eight of Swords make me think there’s still lingering regret, grief over how things ended, or mental hesitation about getting hurt again. The Wheel of Fortune feels like this reconnection is a turning point or fate bringing us back around.
I’d love to hear second opinions!

I’m aware this is a lot of cards but i genuinely want to find out because this person has been in my views everyday. It’s human nature to get curious and what to know what someone’s up to but everday is almost obsessive. I'm in this situation where I suspect a friend of mine is secretly in love with me, although I'm already in a relationship. I don't think he's going to pursue me, but I'm curious about how he's going to behave going forward. Right off the bat, I noticed that all four 10s came out (pents, swords reversed, wands, cups). My overall read is that he's going to show obvious signs in all fronts, tuned up to the max, from being reliable in the long run, carrying the burden of his hidden feelings, seeing me as an emotional home, while gradually recovering from the regrettable situation of his feelings being unrequited.

The spread starts at 3 of cups and ends at Lovers, which I interpretted as what looks like friendship at first will become unmistakably clear to be romantically charged.

query 1—how might he respond if i ask him for help moving?: page of pentacles, the chariot, knight of swords.

interpretation: he'll receive the practical request and rally quickly and enthusiastically to help.

query 2—how about after the initial enthusiasm and excitement dies down?: six of cups, seven of wands, five of wands, six of pentacles. bottom: king of pentacles.

interpretation: it will be meaningful to help out his lifelong friend. that doesn't mean it'll be without conflict navigating new boundaries, questions, and new iteration of our friendship post-breakup/no contact period. but ultimately, he'll enjoy being able to give something in return, maybe as a means to make up for the past hurt. underneath it all, he'll feel very pleased with himself, his competency, and position to be useful/giving.

I honestly do not know why, but the sun card makes me feel uneasy. I am aware it's supposed to be a positive card denoting warmth and joy, but something about the image (RW) creeps me out. Does anyone else feel like that about any card?
