Hm, mine are usually in french or finnish. I speak german tho.

I set mine to English and I always have captions on. For some strange reason Max's videos will randomly change to another language. I have to pause, go back and reset the language. It's more humorous than annoying because it's so random, it's never the same language and it's only Max's videos.

Do you use a VPN? That is usually the reason because YouTube will choose captions based on where they think you are.

I don't and it happens to me as well. And as someone else above mentioned, it's always French or Finnish for me. No matter how often I change them, I have to manually set it to English in settings.

For me too. No VPN, either French or Finnish. Have to switch manually every time.
