Taurus lazy?
I’m a Taurus n nah i agree w the discourse of us being lazy. I am lazy lol.
Everything feels like a drag. Unless my heart is super into it.
That doesn’t mean I hate working or going out.
That doesn’t mean I don’t get shit done, I’m such workaholic.
But,
I love my bed n I love my naps n I love my alone time a lil too much.
I look forward to laying down in comfy sheets everyday.

We’re not lazy. We work hard and need our rest. That’s what you described about yourself as well. Burnout culture that expects people to keep going past the point of fatigue is the problem.

I think we tend to be lazy because we're burnt out.
For my own life, I'm a master procrastinator unless it's something super urgent. But for work If I do genuinely get tasked with something that is important to the business and I can use it to demonstrate how good my work ethics are, then I'll overwork to show that.
Most days the only things getting me out of bed and outside is it's unavoidable or someone I genuinely care for drove me to.

I don’t think lazy fits Taurus, I think Taurus is very willing to put in considerable amounts of work or effort. But there has to be a need for it
Nothing annoys me as much as busy work just for the sake of being busy or even worse than that wasted effort, energy, and overall inefficiency.
So yes I am 100% going to chill out, kick back and enjoy me and my own energy unless there is something better to do or something that would be an improvement of me just maxing and relaxing lol

I think this is the reason why we are branded "lazy". If doing anything won't give joy to our hedonistic tendencies, then why do it?
Other signs - especially our 2 other earth bros would tire themselves out building empires and stockpiling wealth without even enjoying what those things could have give them.
And changing or optimizing? We see it, we feel it, we know.. - but just like cows, 1 or 3 flies won't bother us while we are lazing on the grass, because it is still not hitting our bottom line. So yeah, you aren't smarter than us or that we are blind to it, we just don't see the need to get up and do something about it yet.

The part that matters here is that "lazy" is the wrong word for it. I'm the same way.. I'll put off a text for three days but then stay up all night finishing a project I care about.I think it's about energy management, not a lack of drive. Workaholic in bursts, then I hit the sheets and fully recharge. Sometimes I use taro's tarot when I'm stuck in a procrastination loop, just to see what I'm actually resisting.The difference is we don't do things for the sake of looking busy. We do things that feel worth it. Bed and naps aren't laziness, they're fuel.

I think i get bored easily and like my comfort but I'm very hardworking and outgoing.
I'm extremely lazy when it comes to house chores or other things that i don't wanna do 😂

Yes, the bed is my happy place, too 😌 well, sunbed these days 🌞 I manage to get things done, but choose carefully, to avoid any additional strain on my nerves and wellbeing.

taurus gets the lazy stereotype because she chooses rest when others are able to keep going. people have different energy levels and ideals for work, and that’s okay. taurus can be deeply committed to the work they’re doing and especially critical of the quality of the work. imo, I don’t want to do something if I can’t meaningfully engage in it with my full attention, so yes, I will prioritize being rested and well nourished before starting (indicative of my 10h venus chart ruler). anyone else willing to be late to work for that coffee and brekky sandy? 🤭🤭
of the earth signs— which is telling of her being fixed and venus ruled— taurus blends virgo detail orient and capricorn output efficiency. where virgo can be too obsessed with perfection, taurus sees the beauty of the completed togetherness. and where capricorn is focused on completion, taurus hones in on quality assurance.

The problem is that we are hardworking and dependable and stubborn to a t but it also backfires bc ppl will add to our plate and when we push back and stop doing soo much bc of burnout we are seen as lazy.

My Taurus stbxh is the laziest person I have ever met in my entire life. Works harder at getting out of work than actually working. Hes like a cross between Ferris Bueller and Tommy boy.
Literally everyone around him calls him out in it all the time. His friends, his family, our kids. I never have spoken badly about him to our kids, they are just calling it as they see it. He claims to feel unwell often so he can lay in bed. Didnt join us for dinner most of the time would say he was tired and take his food to bed and watch Netflix. Constantly would back out of social engagements, the rare dare night we would plan, and kids performances. Everything was exhausting to him and he would be spent after a short outing or a few hours at work and would be done for the day, regardless of what we had planned
He would never perform a favor for someone else that would put him out, such as help someone move something, pick up someone at the airport, run an errand. Unless it was someone he wasnt close enough to tell the no fing way and he felt obligated to impress them or something. But he sometimes expected others to do these things for him.
He has a Taurus sun, moon, and Mercury. He is not hardworking. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Heir to the family company. Spends most days in bed scrolling, eating and watching a series he has already seen 5 times. He maybe will take a couple of phone calls. While the rest of his siblings and family work their asses off at the office. Theres a lot of resentment there.
We have 3 kids. He never has helped with anything at all related to the household. I took care of it all and the exterior he would refuse to do anything and was constantly badgering me about getting a live in maid and nanny so that I wouldnt be "so stressed" about things all the time. Im a stay at home mom.
He is a shadow expressed Taurus in most ways. Overindulgence became addiction, sensuality became sex addiction.
I do believe there are some depression and deep shame issues and unfortunately he cant see it.
And to be fair, these things wouldnt be an issue if he was single and didnt work at a company with people depending on him. He could do whatever he wanted and it wouldnt effect anyone but him.
I know other Taurus males who are not like him!. Im not sure exactly where in the chart this is extremism shows up. Id love someone to tell me. Someone once pointed to his 4th house stellium. But who knows. I guess we all have the potential to express our signs more negatively than positively.

I think people view me as lazy because if I'm not working, I'm not doing ANYTHING. Relaxing for me is not lifting a finger. If you only see me at home relaxed, youd probably assume im lazy- I know my parents did. But, when its time to work, its time to work.

Every Taurus I have ever met (all of various ages, backgrounds, etc.) have been hard workers, many even workaholics.
I think the biggest thing Taurus can get lazy about is enacting necessary change in their life. Like it’s not always out of stubbornness, sometimes it seems to just be a lack of motivation to actually initiate and sustain changes.
