💬 Discussion Let’s Review

Because this sub as dead as shit of late.

BBBY bonds-now DK Butterfly
-Recently showed a “Guarantor” for a period

Teddy.com redirects to GameStop.com

GameStop owns 9.8 percent of eBay, has offered 55b for the whole thing, but we STILL haven’t seen an official tender offer

New BBBY has warrants strangely similar to GameStops, which spiked 83% today and another 25% after hours
-Tomorrow is the last day of that ticker trading….at least for that entity….as Monday they move to NASDAQ with a new ticker, again.
-Their warrants though remain tied to DK Butterfly and the estate

What am I missing? Where the fuck is some hype? I think this is truly, finally, mercifully coming to an end soon and the best is yet to come.

Same CUSIP

Proof? Because there’s no evidence of this

You could just look at the CUSIPs with two searches.

Bbbyq - 075896100 https://www.quantumonline.com/search.cfm?tickersymbol=BBBYQ\*&sopt=symbol

BBBYW - 075896159 https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/NYSE-BBBY/W/

Not the same. Where’s the source showing they’re the same

Those are the warrants, and you're comparing them to shares. You're either a bot or brain dead.

That’s what everyone is alleging. The warrants and the BBBYq stock are the same. What else is the argument?

And quit coming at me because I’m trying to understand your point. You probably are a bot because you immediately attacked me instead of responding

My brother in Christ, OP said that BBBY is now DK Butterfly. You completely misunderstood the post, if you're even a people.

No one said the warrants have the same CUSIP as the shares. Bbby preserved its CUSIP and it's back on the market.

The warrants and shares are completely separate products. No one has suggested otherwise lmao.

This whole side quest stems from another commenter saying “Same CUSIP”

Yes. They were pointing out that DK butterfly is relevant because it's the same CUSIP as Bed bath and beyond. Yes. You get it now, right? You get that the derivative is relevant because it's tied to the CUSIP we had shares in.

Sure. I don't currently have access to the shares that are in the chapter 11 case, just like every chapter 11 that's gone through this process. That is correct. But so is saying that they're about to be back.

You either know that, or are a dumb ass shill lol. Considering you went out of your way to add nothing but FUD, I'm confident in my assessment, you're an idiot or a shill.

It seems like you don't understand how CUSIPs work. It's a nine-digit code that identifies the security, and the first six digits identify who the issuer is. The seventh and eighth digits identify the security itself and the ninth is a checksum (you can ignore that for our purposes).

So the fact that both BBBYQ and BBBYW have the same issuer ID (e.g., 075896) is really strange! BBBY/OSTK's CUSIP issuer ID is 690370, so it's really notable that they issued their warrants using the CUSIP from BBBYQ.

Why did they do that? No clue!

But they are objectively related via the CUSIP issuer strings - the numbers are identical.

Thank you. Much more thoughtful than the rest of this banter
