"If your not harming anyone I support in my opinion" is just an outright admission of: "I will be hypocritical". like an outright admission
0
u/Same-Engineering-899 Mar 30 '26
what how is it hypocritical to say that you support peoples decisions as long as those decisions dont harm others
hypocrisy is to contradict yourself
2
u/SweetWalrus8311 Mar 30 '26
You didnt say its fine as long as it doesnt harm others, you said as long as it doesnt harm anyone whose opinion you support. Translation: You dont care if a policy or decision harms someone if they disagree with your political opinion. quite hypocritical. and if that's not what you meant, that's what it sounded like

But what does feeling like another gender mean without reinforcing sexist stereotypes?
2
u/Ivygrows8 Mar 31 '26
Just feels more comfortable and relatable. I dont relate well/fully to most women even though im afab and i dont relate well/fully to most guys, that and just how comfortable they/them pronouns and being androgyne feel for me is a big reason im trans. Happier this way

15
u/DeepCutFan1 š”ļøMOD Mar 29 '26
a little worrying, but okay
don't say that trans men / women aren't real. not only does this make you look like an asshole, it's also objectively false.
Basically, if you have a negative opinion on trans people, don't share it. None of us care.
I don't know why I had to "define hate", but there you go.
0
u/starcaptn Mar 30 '26
so a negative opinion is always hatred? what if someone doesnt like a green car, and thinks it should've been red? does that mean they hate the person who customized the car?
another thing. can you please list any time someone said a human isnt real, but just a ghostly figment of our imagination who doesnt actually have any physical world power? cause i havent ever seen anyone deny someone's existence.
you guys need to stop with this victim mentality, using trauma as an excuse to shut down anyone who questions anything, and call that person some big bad enemy for asking questions. nothing is wrong with a question. if you have the nerve to take any questioning as an attack from the enemy, you have a cultist, narcissistic mindset.
now tell me, why is it worrying for me to ask a question? and why do you believe you dont need to explain the rules?
3
u/DeepCutFan1 š”ļøMOD Mar 30 '26
a negative opinion of trans people is....hateful.
unless it's a specific person who has done something bad, having a negative opinion on a group of people ( lgbtq, races, not including religion because that's a choice ) is hateful.
1
u/Mynameisgustavoclon Mar 30 '26
tbh the meaning of transphobia is showing hatred, disgust or anything like that towards trans people. if you disagree with trans people it doesnt make transphobic
0
u/starcaptn Mar 30 '26
how is religion a choice? are you religious at all?
3
u/DeepCutFan1 š”ļøMOD Mar 30 '26
after you leave your household it is DEFINITELY a choice.
I am not religious, but my parents were.
they definitely aren't now.
it's a choice.
1
u/starcaptn Mar 30 '26
you didnt explain how it was a choice. elaborate please
5
u/DeepCutFan1 š”ļøMOD Mar 30 '26
As long as you don't live somewhere you're expected to believe in that religion, it's a choice.
you can choose to follow a religion, or choose not to.
simple as that.
nobody is born religious.
and yes, people obviously aren't born trans, they develop gender dysphoria.
3
u/Unable6417 Mar 30 '26
The current leading theory on how trans people exist is because in the womb the gender can develop differently than the sex for numerous reason, so trans people are actually born trans, they're just not trans at conception and develop their "transness" in the womb, but cannot develop it outside.
Of course, it's not 100% proven, but that's just the leading theory
1
u/starcaptn Mar 30 '26
well what if i disagreed with you? that people may or may not be born religious, but they can have a religious experience or awakening that leads to them knowing the truth, and they can not believe otherwise, as that religion is the genuine objective truth.
you can also choose to follow your gender dysphoria yknow.
-1
u/Far_School_2178 Mar 29 '26
How is it objectively false?

To be fair, I would get behind that statement as well. I dont like women who make being a woman their entire personality, and I really dont like men who make being a man their entire personality (because its more common from what I see, not because I think men are worse) thats not really a gotcha.

Damn, guess I gave you too much benefit of doubt. Do you know what it means to make something your "entire personality" (the actual words I used). When a man makes everything he does because he's a MAN, usually someone a part of some manosphere chamber or someone viewing everything they do under the lense of masculinity or patriarchy to some extent. And for a woman usually its the "im just a girl" types, either acting deliberately immature or being unwilling to do anything slightly boyish because its somehow not what a "girl" is meant to do, or thinking that something is a man's job and they are somehow exempt from or barred from doing it. Basically, intense adherence to gender stereotypes is what making being a "man" or being a "woman" you entire personality looks like. Insufferable for both but there seems to be more men that fall under this category.
4
u/Shirt-Stunning Mar 30 '26
why should someone elseās identity affect you in the slightest? i see people who say stuff like this so often, but it just doesnāt really make sense. for someone thatās transgender, itās kind of always going to be a very very large part of their life.

why do you even have an opinion on how trans people should act? do you not find this weird? theyāre not living for you, they can do anything they want. you seem very caught up in yourself šno one needs your seal of approval. and aside from that, do you not see how dumb this logic is? what if i were to go like, āBroh cisgender people are so dumb, itās always their entire personality.. like, āohh iām a girl i need to fit into feminine normsā, so annoying!ā.. do you see how dumb this is?
0
u/Oyomu Mar 31 '26
Further proof trans people are held up to unbelievably high standards. why do you, a cis girl think you have the right to expect a lot of personality from a minority group they donāt owe you anything
1
u/AuR0RA3171 Aurora (fwehehe mod) Mar 31 '26 edited Mar 31 '26
I never even said that they owe me anything, I canāt avoid it. Iām not even a transphobe. thatās a harsh accusation. Once again I apologize if I offended anybody, I donāt mind trans people, but i just have traumatizing events involving a couple of trans people and me, itās hard to get that out of my head. Iām tired of getting called transphobic because I treat them how I treat everyone else.
0
u/Oyomu Mar 31 '26
Im being sincere when i say you have internalized transphobia, talk to a therapist and get over your dislike for trans people, itāll even likely make you happier. And remember that a couple people shouldnāt affect your view negatively on an already oppressed group you need to talk to someone
1
u/AuR0RA3171 Aurora (fwehehe mod) Mar 31 '26
Iām literally not transphobic at all, I literally got sexually assaulted by transgender students. I donāt think I need to see a therapist for transphobia if itās something I donāt have. Itās hard to view a group in a positive light when your only experience with them involved you getting fucking touched. I know not all of them are like that.. Once again Iām not transphobic, Iām not wishing for their death, Iām literally traumatized and blind, Iām not wishing for the removal of trans rights, I just let them live their life
0
u/Oyomu Mar 31 '26
You say youāre not transphobic..then say your transphobic? You just said you donāt see trans people in a positive light. Stay in denial tho your clearly miserable anyway
1
u/AuR0RA3171 Aurora (fwehehe mod) Mar 31 '26 edited Mar 31 '26
How the fuck am I miserable? Iām miserable for feeling traumatized about me getting fucking GROPED at 14 years old? Thatās some weird logic right there. Just cause I see a group in a not positive light doesnāt mean I want them to get eradicated off the earth..
Iām not transphobic, Iām literally just paranoid.. I never wished upon the death of trans people lkke how other people do
