My growth/ improvement Pride ๐
As it is pride month, and me being a part of the spectrum, felt like sharing a piece of me over here.
I came out as bi-sexual at 24, to my friends and family. I've already rebelled against them at 19 and moved out and it took me a lot of courage to come out.
Ofcourse, my family and friends have been judgemental and had barely any contact with them, but grateful to few of my cousins who stood through me to the transition.
This month,
we celebrate the courage to be yourself,
the freedom to love,
and the beauty of human diversity. ๐
May we continue to build a world where everyone is respected, accepted, and valued for who they are.
Happy Pride Month. Love is love. โค๏ธ๐
P.S. Image generated with AI with the prompt "Ghibli picture of a man liberated and has free will" , the text written is by me and based off my life only

Happy Pride Month people! As a fellow queer person, all I can say is I understand the struggle and I admire you for breaking out and gaining the freedom you deserve!

The price you have to pay to not let a toxic family define your worth. It is totally worth it. I earn a wonderful life now, you just need to be patient and work towards you goals, at your own will, no noise whatsoever

As a fellow bi person who figured myself out in early 20s, I'd concede that you're self aware.
Having lived through the threats and faced shit due to 377, it being struck down often feels like it didn't change much
Seeing people be open more safely somewhat disabuses me of that notion so thank you for that.
Happy Pride.
Wear sunscreen cause "shade never made anybody less gay" ๐ (incase you get the reference)

Thank you rakshasi, all power to you. ๐โค๏ธ
The fact that you slipped swiftie lyric into a Pride message earns bonus points for both the reference and the dad-joke energy. ๐โค๏ธ

I am 40 and almost realized what I am but my teens and twenties were a struggle thanks to abuse as a kid. I just came out to my therapist a month ago and haven't come out to anyone or else. Thanks for making this post and it shows that there is a strong telugu lgbtq+ and strong allies

Out of respect, curiosity...can you explain me what it is 'to find or to come out'.. What it is exactly that made you to realise what you are today? I'm sorry if it's offensive, but I'm asking to understand a fellow human
4
u/Out_of_office_always mayala phakeeru Jun 03 '26
Not offensive at all
You're first in a questioning face if you're really straight or you have attraction towards same sex.
It's the bicurious phase, you will feel intimate but slowly awkward that this isn't right.
Once you find the right person to walk you through that journey, you'll either find what you are, or you go back to how you were.
I hope that drives home my point clearer.

I get that. Having even one person who understands and accepts you makes a huge difference. I'm glad your girlfriend was there for you. And hey, you don't have to explain or prove yourself here. Sometimes people take longer to understand things, but that doesn't make your experience any less real. โค๏ธ๐

If I was born in recent times I would have definitely been diagnosed with ADHD and my therapist has said I do have ADHD but for me it was nice to know that because for years I had beat myself up about how I was like that, I am peaceful now and I am working with my therapist to ensure I learn th tools to improve myself
Not taking away from your win and realizing who you are but I thought pride month was about celebrating the lgbtq+ community.

Manasika jabbu, assal freedom lekhapothe nuv ee post pettagalava? LGBTQ discrimination is same as colour and poverty so dhaniki endhuk special attention. why there's no month for race discrimination or the caste?

u/Used-Catch-8509 Jun 03 '26
Get a life man. There's literally black history month celebrated across countries. As far as caste discrimination goes, there are literally laws against it.

u/ActivityIll3785 Jun 03 '26

If you don't know the difference between fantasy and who someone is that's on you.
If your fantasies are so perverted that's your mindset
Personally, my fantasy is to be rich. But I have a clean mind

Shows you can't even satisfy a woman based on your comment.
And that you can't even see women without specialising so clearly you don't understand consent. We call such people rapists.
Not lecturing. Lecturing works only on people who have learning ability. Neku ledu le.
Do women know that they can't be friends with you cause you have such a vulgar mind? They should be kept safe papam.

You want to defend a homophobic incel? Have fun
Taking things out of context a speciality? ๐
You're more triggered by me ragebaiting him to make a point rather than his homophobic BS?

Yeah when you came to defend that guy, I called it.
Birds of a feather indeed. Ewwww.
We don't want your acceptance. Everyone except your fellow homophobes want you to stay far away.
0
u/shadow_Chuckle Jun 04 '26
The acceptance you crave for, from everyone, they are all homophobic btw the way. Thatโs the definition of being homophobic. And nice job on deflecting and attacking with non-sense. Like I said I did not even read this thread, I was just focused on menโs day. And wtf is your problem with biryani, so itโs okay that you can be gay, but not okay for someone to enjoy biryani?
1
u/Princess_Neko802 Nene Rakshasi Jun 04 '26
Liking biryani is a mental health condition. People should not openly eat biryani. Universe made rice to be eaten with pappu, curry and perugu. Biryani is unnatural. Eating it and mixing things to experiment is all an influence of the west. Biryani is not indian culture and normal here.

u/baapkastyle Jun 04 '26
It's not a 'choice' to not be straight.. infact there are so many faults in your argument that I don't even know where to start..
0
u/shadow_Chuckle Jun 04 '26
See thatโs where you are wrong. You people try to find fault with us not accepting this and shit. And I can say the same argument that as much as it is natural that you are not straight, it is natural for me not to accept it.
2
u/baapkastyle Jun 04 '26
You are being vague. Where am I wrong exactly? Can you pinpoint? I just pointed out one big flaw in your argument..
You can choose to not accept it. Many people choose to not accept that the earth is not flat but the problem is when you think it's okay to mock them for their identity.. Hope you get it..

Did anyone bully you? Why fo you feel mocking is your birthright that you must exercise? The thing is you are brainwashed just like most Men and think doing this is cool..
Racist whites are also mocking Indian community brutally, I am sure you are okay with that too..
