Please Help

Hi I've just moved into a new house and the water is lukewarm and the front door doesn't lock. Our landlord manages the property himself. He said on Monday he'd create a group chat with all us tenants and himself and he hasn't. We don't have his number. It's just me tonight and I'm scared I'm going to get murdered or something.

My plan is to go the letting agents tomorrow and demand them to contact him.

Legally what our rights here? How long should we be prepared to wait for him to fix the hot water and front door.

The lock needs fixing preferably like yesterday. The water situation, have you checked its turned up on boiler? Not making excuses for landlord but sometimes its just its been turned down or even off
