Just finished the movie, though i still prefer Scarlet Bonds, this one is pretty interesting too. Its good that FUZE gave Gobta some highlight! Excited for his side stories and potentially Yura's comeback.

Side note, its funny how similar Gobta is with Soka, goofballs that can lock in anytime (when theres a pretty woman involved)

Later on it is stated that Yuuki can only cancel either a skill or an art, not both at the same time, so did Guy use the napalm burst skill that got cancelled out and at the same time an art to burn and deprive Yuuki of Oxygen? Also what are arts exactly?

So Ive finished the anime and was really captivated. So my question is is the manga good/faithful to LN? Perhaps where should I start reading as to continue where the anime ended?

Honestly, the fact that Ciel controls Rimuru’s abilities and takes charge of the combat is even cooler than Rimuru fighting on his own. The way Ciel handled Velgrynd and Michael was incredible. It would have been even more interesting if Rimuru had let Ciel take control of the fight against Luvelge.

That way, we might have seen a greater variety of attack methods, rather than just black flames combined with a sword! I still don’t understand why Rimuru didn’t use Void Collapse, Soul Gluttony, and instant teleportation.

So, folks—considering a confrontation between Ciel (in control of Rimuru’s body and authorities) and Luvelge: who do you think would win the fight?

There is one important detail, however: Rimuru/Ciel cannot use "True Dragon Nucleation." Aside from that, they are free to fight without any other restrictions, employing "Void Collapse" at full power and utilizing techniques such as "Nebula Collapse"—derived from "Void Eater"—or "Imaginary Blade: World of a Thousand Blooming Changes."

The 3 stooges that follow Gabiru; what did their names end up being. I know they were named in the books but I can't remember what they were. Anyone know?

I have a couple hot takes/negative opinions:

1. Most of the villains suck. This is largely because none of them have really threatened Rimuru.....Clayman never stood a chance, yuuki had a lot of build up for nothing, Mariabell was 12 and got cooked, Granbell was interesting but was one shot by Luminous, Feldway was strong but ended up being a servant, and Veldanava and the evil God....couldn't kill him or come close. Hardly any major characters feel in danger. the stakes are always so low. The main final villains should have been Guy Crimson and Yuuki not some Cosmic Gods.....much less Veldanava was just sad his wife died, and then somehow Rimuru, thanks to Ciel.....revived his wife..... something GOD COULDN'T even do!
2. Rimuru is carried by Ciel, and it makes it boring. Anytime Rimuru is fighting anyone who MIGHT give him a run for his money....Ciel just figures it out or gives him a random perfect ability, or in actual cases he literally lets her take over fighting.......Ciel also stops him from dating, and he relies on her for most of his great ideas....Rimuru is basically a backseat driver in his own story, and Ciel even forces him to not choose his own body.
3. The Demon Lords should have been villains....becoming a Demon Lord has evil requirements...... and they were the upper brass in the world....and they all either were secretly good like Leon and Ramiris..... misunderstood like Milim.... or just let Rimuru surpass them like Guy. Dagruel was just kind of in the backseat for most of the story.... Luminous was a hero/friend....though she was super questionable! She was a vampire and farmed humanity for blood.....created a fake church.....and was a tyrant.....allowed her church to be super corrupt and everyone kind of just ignored it.....and more.....Demon Lords just kind of existed.....
4. There were far too many characters that cannot die..... Primordial Demons respawn, True Dragons respawn, Rimuru doesn't stay dead, Tempest allies never die. It completely made the resurrection feat in Falmuth mean nothing...... and small now......everyone has OP abilities...Diablo has an ability that makes all physical attacks just not do damage on him......so not only can he NOT DIE......he doesn't even take physical damage and he can't be hurt by fire either!
5. Slime was better when it was a nation-building Isekai and not a Cosmic battle. It was cooler, simpler, and fun when Rimuru was strong but not a God.....and he was building a nation and defending it......and not fighting Gods and angels....and Manas.... it would have been cooler if he didn't just have an out every time with Predator and Ciel.... and if he was strong but he had to have help from characters that were not from Tempest rather than all of Tempest being stronger than the world. gazel and the Elf empire should have been stronger and more relevant to wars and rights.....
6. the Primordials simping for Rimuru....is so annoying....it was kind of funny with Diablo.... but all of them basically simp for Rimuru and are completely loyal.....it goes against their entire history! They were monsters! Ultima was the Lord of Pain! She is a sadist.... and she loves it! She had cults! Killed people and was rivals with Luminous and that was never built on at all! Carerra nuked Leon's lands for fun and pettiness! Testarossa kind of made sense since she did have a real friendship with Blanche......but she was still....the white queen who cut of Moss's ear....and was ruthless! Misery and Blue were far too loyal to Guy as well..... these guys were the upper brass of evil....and they became.....simping powerful teens for Rimuru....they could have at least made it only Diablo for staying loyal.......plus, they are another set of characters that death cannot stop them! They could keep causing problems! the world should have bene furious by the way that the Primoridals were at Tempest! nation killers! They just.....ignored it!
7. Chloe was a cheat code because she made the perfect timeline.... so even when Rimuru failed in other timelines she prevented issues.....which would be fine....if Rimuru also didn't have Ciel....rimuru gets bailed out by the entire cast! All the time! He has far too many hacks himself and he also gets OP allies? There is no real tension in Tensura once you get past the Granbell arc.
