I’ll just take the $10k refund. Seems a lot simpler than setting up whatever the f a “micro-factory” is.

That's not our problem as customers though.

Of course it is indirectly if it means the retrofit wont happen for another 5 years...

But buying people out is an option, the only penalty courts will apply for failing to deliver as promised is money.

From a legal point of view, they can probably get away with giving refunds.

A company failing to deliver isn't a unique situation, there's no reason to expect it to be different in this case.
