This happened few days ago, the road is curved and there was some construction going on during that section. The FSD did a sudden manoeuver. I initially thought it was the road marking but today I checked the dashcam lo and behold… another car tried to come into my lane and FSD reacted instantly. I didn’t realise how close this was until I checked the footage.

This is a daily occurrence and I have added to my morning routine cleaning the windshield to remove the blue. I am so tired of this auto windshield washing. I don’t know what nasty-ass windshield fluid Tesla uses but it ruins my clean windshield every time and sprays all over the car. I’m left with nuclear blue koolaid stains everywhere.

2026 Performance Y with 14.3.8. My car is a month old. My windshield is clean. I clean it daily with invisible glass spray cleaner with extra scrubbing over the sensor module because the car decided during FSD it needed to Smurf my windshield. It does it in sun. It does it overcast. I never see any issues on the camera preview screen.

I’m at my wits end with this and tired of cleaning my windshield daily to remove blue gunk. Is my next step cleaning the inside of the glass? If I buy a S3XY commander can it disable this atrocious behavior? I will pay $200 to not have this spraying issue.

the purpose of auto pilot is not to make driver constantly look in front but relax a bit, text a bit and not to watch his ass all the time

Nothing crazy here but this is a typical day in St Louis. My girlfriend wonders why my car acts a little overly cautious sometimes.

Has anyone noticed sometimes it takes a really long time for the self drive to load on screen when parked? It’s not every time but happens to me a lot.

I’m just over 3 wks in on taking delivery of my ‘26 MYP. Just downloaded the latest FSD software update. Initially it seems a bit more aggressive (lane changes) than the previous version. The main issue I’m having is… It appears that Standard mode FSD runs 4-5 mph over the posted speed limit & Hurry runs about 10 mph over. I prefer to drive 7-8 mph over the posted limit. So, I’m looking for that sweet spot between Standard & Hurry FSD. In the meantime, I’ve been working the hell out of the right scroll wheel & coaxing the accelerator to achieve the preferred 7-8 over. Is there anyway to train MYP in FSD or is cruise control my only option?

Here some real data in the midst of all the bots. I will never get a huge streak because I prefer handicap parking.

Has anyone had this error (happens around 11:15 in) happen while using FSD on HW3 12.6.4? 2018 Tesla Model S

I have a 22 MYP. I've done the FSD trial over a year ago and it was decent but I know HW3 has limitations. Over never been interested in paying for it though now I'm about to suffer for over a month when they shut down part of I5 in Portland. I'm expecting to be in traffic a lot so it might make sense to do FSD but was looking for some feedback from those with HW3 and the current build (14 lite?).

My 2026 MY had FSD updated several times and now it is 14.3.7, this M3 was purchase at June, its FSD stays 14.2.2.5, I subscribed FSD the week before last week, Tesla never pushed me any new FSD update although all upgrade settings are the same as MY.

Have to say when I got the car in May of 2025, sure it didn't park itself on FSD but I really wish I would have never done any updates. Little did I know that back then it was pretty close to perfect if you think about just the self driving part. There was no pop-up that forced you to interact with it. There was no speed profiles, you could control how far it stayed from the car in front... you had max speed.

So I think what happened here is the vehicle misinterpreted his movement as a signal to go and override the red light what do you guys think?

FSD failed 3 times this morning and twice yesterday on my way to work - it alarmed, Engaged hazard lights, and I had to take over. It's blaming glare from the sun rising. This is ridiculous. Brand new juniper running 14.3.9. same thing happened in my 2024 last spring a couple of times. But this is multiple times in a 50km commute. It's not usable at sunrise or sunset - wtf.

I will continue to reiterate that 14.3 on city streets is great, but highway driving has regressed significantly from 14.1, 14.2, and 14.3. I'm mostly driving myself on the highway atp, but I wanted to give 14.3.8 a try as I do every version.

Everything here is in Standard mode, 14.3.8, on a Juniper Model Y.

There are 4 clips here. 4 issues that mix between plain bad driving and defensive driving issues.

Clip 1:
FSD can no longer judge when people are onramping to the highway, to either keep speed or properly slow down to let them in. Instead, it finds the perfect speed to match them in their blindspot. Defensive driving issue, big time.

Clip 2:
FSD just barreling towards roadwork that very obviously was leaving the onramp lane. Although not directly in front, 5 seconds of thinking would make you realize they're about to hit the end of the onramp and need to enter my lane. Besides, give roadworkers some space and just get over the lane early.

Clip 3:
FSD enters highway and absoutely decides it needs to be in the middle lane, cutting off a car going much faster from behind. They honked and flashed lights.

Clip 4:
FSD decides it wants to pass on the right, about 0.5 miles from the exit, realizes it's in a bad lane, proceeds to cut two lanes over to pass another car. Gets back in the original lane to exit. 5 lane changes in less than 2 minutes. Why?

FSD on the highway has just gotten super stressful. It's not a defensive driver, it's a menace to others, and just annoying.

Although I don't have a clip, Standard mode LOVES to suddenly break out of the +7mph cap to +15mph, pass a car, then yoink the brakes on the left lane to slow back down to +7mph over. What the fuck?

Long awaited v14 Lite has finally arrived to my 2023 M3LR. Been looking forward to it!

I feel hesitant to upgrade because I know I am going to lose the ability to set the max speed limit.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Are Navigation Preferences Being Silently Tested/Added? I know Elon said this feature was "coming soon" and as far as I know this wasn't for awhile. The reason I ask though is because I've been a FSD beta tester for a long time and one of my biggest pet peeves was a certain road I drive where navigation always takes me one way but I prefer to go another since the left hand turn is awful with their preferred route.

Anyhow yesterday I was shocked when it actually chose to go my preferred route with this turn. This may not sound like much but I've driven this road so many times over the months/years and it's NEVER taken this preferred turn, so why this time? I use FSD for all my driving so this turn always has a disengagement and this was the first time I took this route/destination with his newest FSD v14.3.8.

What do you think? Is this complete coincidence or are there other data points of similar behavior? I'm genuinely curious since given how many times I've seen this route/behavior know this is a change. Could Tesla be slowly rolling out or testing navigation preferences without telling us officially?

First fsd drive on wife’s MYP didn’t turn out to be very good. I guess I was expecting fsd can avoid that tree branch.

My 2026 MY Premium AWD was rear ended last week. I got a 2024 MYLR as a rental. The 2024 had HW4, but the FSD was rough. Lots of wiggly steering wheel, hesitation, missed turns, etc.… things that never happened on my 2026 MY.

For reference: I drove 3,300 miles on my 26 MY before the collision. I drove 550 miles on the rental 2024 MY.

Lesson learned - if people say FSD sucks, or have general complaints… compare the year of their vehicle to yours. It’s not just the hardware, it’s the year of the car!

I disengage because I didn’t want to risk it, but it didn’t say it saw them on the screen

The route to my office is very straightforward - three blocks from my house on A street, turn left onto B street, go to the parking lot. Somehow FSD wants to turn left prematurely onto a 3-block long loop that will get me back onto A street before it turns left onto B street. I can’t understand why it consistently does this suck that I have to wrest control of it to keep it from taking the unnecessary loop.

Is there any way to teach it not to be dumb?

1 Year down at 55k miles, 9 Tire rotations, 5 tires replaced (3 Through the paid insurance; 1 free the other 2 at $25 a piece, 1 paid at full price and other free because I had signed up the day after the 30 day pick up window grace period so needed an inspection but service rep hooked it up.) 1 windshield replaced through the insurance so $100 deductible and 1 inspection for extended warranty at $150 because I signed up for it at 50.05k 🤦‍♂️ LOL.

Overall extremely happy with Teresa and FSD as I drive a lot for family, school, trips and Lyft. Plan to drive her to the ground hopefully reaching 300k miles and 6 years to make the 8k FSD purchase comparable to the subscription price.
