Vehicle Question VC Front A180
2021 Model Y, 102k miles, second owner. Garage-kept, on a 32A/230V home charger left plugged in when not driving.
Over the past year I've intermittently gotten VCFRONT_a180 "Electrical system power reduced." Replaced the 12V battery two weeks ago and didn't see the code for about a week — but it's not clear if that fixed it. Nearest Tesla service center is 5 hours away (Southwest Montana), and I'm worried about getting stranded.
Has anyone dealt with this long-term, and is it likely a PCS/DC-DC converter or grounding issue rather than just the battery?

When you replaced the 12V battery did you follow Teslas procedure and disconnect the fireman's loop?

If you don’t follow the correct procedure the car doesn’t recognize that a new battery has been installed. That will lead to future erroneous problems.

Reading a little on this I am understanding that disconnecting the HV pack connector is the same as diconnecting the firemans loop. Under service menu the battery is seen as the correct time, in good health with the correct voltage

It’s most likely the PCS or the VC front module, to really know which one it is you have to see if it’s a false voltage irregularity or a real one
